Question about Progressive ServersFollow

#1 Oct 11 2007 at 6:13 PM Rating: Decent
Hey everyone, im a retired everquest player and im thinking of coming back (no telling how many times you guys have heard that) and i was really excited to see that they had progressive servers, because the main reason i left the game was people were leaving the zones i loved. But the problem is, i looked at the timeline and the guilds have passed up all the stuff by far, i was wondering if there are still people who create guilds and do the whole timeline. another question to, to get to the newer parts of the game do you yourself have to complete the missions or is just if other people of your server do it. thanks everyone :)

I don't play on the combine, so I can't answer your first question.

Expansions open serverwide when all steps have been completed by at least one person. So you can enter kunark even if you haven't personally killed nagafen, and so on.

As to the first question, yes, guilds are still being made. But there are no guilds that I know of doing Original - Current content in order. There are really nice family guilds that will raid from time to time in older content but the majority are either doing PoP progression or OoW/DoDh content.

And Groogle answered your second question.

Look me up if ya have any questions in game,

Morhedel Darkpact
70 Enchanter
The Combine
Ancient Guardians Combined
#4REDACTED, Posted: Oct 12 2007 at 11:09 AM, Rating: Unrated, (Expand Post) dont know about guilds doing it in step reguardless of the content available, but no, once any guild defeats the top boss, the entire next expansion is opened to every one.
