Allakhazam is launching an EQ wiki, I'll be the admin. It will be located here, although it's currently completely empty -- I'll be working on getting a skeleton structure up today, you can look at the EQ2 wiki here for some idea of what we're looking to do with the EQ wiki.
The wiki uses the same cookie as the rest of the site, you don't need to create a new account or even log in separately.
The bestiary has been wikified, you can edit mob descriptions, just click the edit button on each bestiary page. Having a wikified bestiary should make updating mob descriptions a lot easier -- if you are XP'ing somewhere and a named pops, if it spawns adds or has leashed guards like tarnuk, and you have a moment, please edit it in to the bestiary! I would rather err on the side of too much information than too little; if there's anything at all you feel would be useful on a page, feel free to put it there. I'm also aiming to eventually have all raid mobs show basic info about the encounter, or even detailed strats, as seen with Ture. Please feel toss up any strats you have (at least if you have the permission of the author to do so.) A fully flushed out wiki has the potential to be a great information source.
Quest descriptions will also be transitioning to a wiki format in the relatively near future.
You can create new articles by going to /wiki/EQ:new article name here/. Before creating an article, please look around to make sure it hasn't been previously started. The wiki software is custom, so it's still a bit of a work in progress; there is currently not a search function, so if you create a new article, please link it on an existing page -- otherwise, it will be orphaned.
Currently, we are trying to expand the race and class pages. The shadowknight page is an example of a good beginning. If you are looking for somewhere to contribute, anywhere of the individual class or race pages would be a good place to start.
