Hi i was thinking of returning to everquest after been away for 4 years nearly, but i was wondering if many people still played this game..as alot left when EQ2 came out..
If somone could give my some idea of people still playing and which servers are now the best.
I was on Tunare server and i am a european time zone player due to work..accept weekends which i have all the time in the day to play lol

There's not really consensus on which server has the most people. If you play at European times, I'd suggest the Euro server.

I never got into raiding and the high end gaming.
I'm more than happy with just grouping somewhere and seeing what happens.
It seems to me that it is nearly impossible to find a group at
my level range and on the servers I've been trying.
I'm not going to start a rant here, but with all the twinks and power leveling going on what is a returning low-level player like me to do?
It is frustrating to say the least.
Anyone looking for a group and/or to socialize look me up
on Torvonillous (where I've been playing the most) or on Stromm
or even on Firiona Vie.

send me a tell and we'll get some levels and such loot as we can.
I'm in Arizona and try to play about 2 hours every other day (Starting with Sunday)at about 10pm to 12am.
Hopefully that corresponds with someone's play schedule.

I believe Bristlebane is a great server for casual, lowbie and returning players. There was an influx of players here due to the Anny pack and some astute Sony Board (maybe Alla too?) guild recruiting (I never used to be a BB player) and I think it already was a good solid server.
There is usually 7-10 guilds recruiting casuals on the posting board in the guild lobby and most of them are even reputable... there's always that one...
General chat is lively as a group from one of the mightier guilds likes to socialize on it and it is also friendly and helpful any time I have spoken on it/listened in.
And finally, about 1-2 people a week post about this (returning, where to play?) so if you all come to Bristlebane you then reinforce what is already happening.

My second server recommendation would be Stromm as it seems that many of the intelligent/helpful/friendly Alla posters play there.
Note: I am not saying all other alla posters that play on other servers are foolish/unhelpful/unfriendly, it just seemed the past few months Stromm has been represented well on the boards.
I don't play on Stromm by the way, I just have a good impression of them.
