When I look at the "played" option on my second account, it says that I am entitled to to 1.7 years. It has said this for many many moths, and I am looking for my second Veteran Reward. The time entitled has not changed and the accounnt has been active continuously for well over a year. What should I do?

I looked at the in game customer service page, but that wa about as helpful as a level 1 dark elf in Kelethin. Any ideas?

It is due to the way they convert months to 10ths of a year. I don't know how it is done, but several months will go by on various 10ths, depending on your account.

As long as you know what your anniversary date is, and it changes to 2.0 then, you'll be fine. And if it doesn't /petition then.

Sure you are not mixing up time played vs time paid. I did that once. Once i bought more time. I got the reward.

This is correct. Screwy, but correct.

When you pay for a year or more of time in advance, you get immediately credited for the full time you paid for. However, your /played time will not increase until that year (or more) has passed.

This can be pretty annoying if you happen to have set up a year subscription during the latter part of a full year of playing (as you did). Basically, you played for 7/10ths of a year, and then subscribed to a year. You then were credited with 1.7 years /played. But you have to wait one year for that to update. Had you simply paid for a few more months of time (enough to get to 1 full year), then subscribed for a year, you'd have 2.0 years of time /played after one year, and always be a full year ahead in terms of veteran awards.

Yeah. I've been sitting at 8.8 years for months as well. Sucks really...
