You put a NO DROP (NO TRADE) augment into a droppable piece of equipment...

Thanks for the info.
If anyone has a link to where/how you get these augments I would really appreciate it. I just started playing again after a 3 year layoff, so it's a little overwhelming trying to figure all this new stuff out. TY for the help.

You can get augments in alot of places now.

Every hotzone has a specific augdrop, random of any mob in the zone.
ALOT of quests in the Serpent Spine Expansion have augs as rewards.
Or use the old LDoN merchants , but gotta do some missions first to get the points.

Easiest augs are probably the random dropped ones in Hotzones.

The other way is if the item piece is attunable. The item is tradeable until someone equipped it and attunes it to that character. At which point the item is now No Trade

I'm curious... why do you want to make a droppable item no-drop?

It's possible that he's on a PvP server... or do they not drop equipment there anymore?

I do it so that I don't accidently drop/trade/sell some items. (Mainly to protect myself from me)

For example, my Amulet of Necropotence has been augmented with one of those LDoN all/all augments (+5 poison resist I think).

Never hurts to be overly safe, I've lost 2 100% WR bags in my main character's lifetime thanks to stupidly dropping them unintentionally (confirmation and all, don't ask =p)

I play on pvp server. I just found out you can't loot items anymore off of players, so I guess I wont be needing to make stuff no drop after all.
