Where would/could/should someone take a lvl 40ish bard to work their skills? My bards picklock skill was maxed 5 or 6 levels ago, gonna go back to the hole on that one.

But were does a bard learn to use their sense trap, disarm trap, etc, skills? I know I could go into an ldon to do it, but dont really wannt to group with some friends to get in to do so.

The skill that is at zero is "Intimidation" because for the life of me, it will not skill up and it is NOT listed on the skill list to be trained by the guild trainer. Though I do have "dragon punch", which I would love to have but it isnt trainable by me -(

If I remember correctly, Intimidation is a skill version of fear, that works in a very strange way.

To activate it, you have to use the skill, and then use one of your "special" attacks. Which is why it's normally reserved for non-casters... I'm not sure how a hybrid would activate it, given that bards especially don't have any special attacks.

Sense trap will go up by spamming it, map it to a movement key.
Disarm trap needs a trap, go to the low side of echo caverns and span in near the waving plant thingies.
Pick lock needs a lock, use the spinning book in PoTranq.
Intimidation will work on anything, get agro on a low level undead, unequip your weapons (so you don't riposte them to death) and spam the key.

Of these, I wouldn't waste my time on intimidation, you will never ever need to use it.

Sense trap has been broken since the release of PoR. You now cannot get skillups without a trap actually being present. No point mapping that ability to a movement key anymore. You have to spend hours standing in front of a trap spamming the Sense Trap key now to get skillups.

I find it very odd that you have the Intimidate ability yet the GM trainer doesn't have it on their list. I would /bug that. However, Intimidate will raise by practicing it, it just is painfully slow to level until you get your first 20 points or so. It is not tied to any special attack or ability. Just have a target (any targettable object; pet, hollow tree, corpse, etc will all work) and click the button. You can be across the zone and invis and it will still perform the intimidate moves and get a chance for skillup.
