What happens if you claim your rewards, then realise later that you want to get away from being that enchanter (with both the horse and the roboboar - I wouldn't have claimed both on the samecharacter had I known that theroboboar was basically another horse - gee, like I needed both on the same character?)
What if you suddenly realise that the warrior you created (abandoning the world of mana and buffing others) and realise that it's a loooooooong walk back (and that same enchanter had that really cool port device that would bring you to Crescent Reach). Is there any porting device a warrior can obtain that were not one-shot items?
A port-key, a port-key...my kingdom for a port-key!

I feel that if you delete a character that had one of the "Rewards" you get from buying an expansion and starting all over that you should be able to re-claim the reward (heck I'm getting to the point where I'm tempted to cancel my account, re-buying the game, and creating a new account so that I can re-claim my rewards and start over again that way!!) I don't need the horse as much since I no longer have to constantly med, but being an un-twinked warrior on a server where I don't know anyone and my best weapon is the gloomiron sword (have you priced fine steel? It's outragious AND it suckketh stat-wise)but that port-key to Crescent Reach sure would come handy when I'm down in the basement of Blackburrow lost and getting rather frightened, and that weight re-dux bag that I don't have to pay outragious bazaar prices to get is very nice as well. Heck, any clicky item would be welcome, even the useless frost crystal doohickie!

It's how I feel as I wait for the servers to come back up...

Sigh..it's hard being a level 13 warrior

Unfortunately the /claim rewards as well as the /veteran rewards are all non-transferable. The veteran rewards are a bigger deal since they only come with paid account time. The claim rewards you at least have another option ..

Instead of cancelling your account and buying another copy of the game to get the rewards you could just buy another copy of the game and activate it on your existing account. You will get all the rewards again to distribute.

Reward types that you've already claimed can be gotten again? this I have not known...hmm...

So you're saying that if I'm willing to pay for Serpent only (to get the Crescent Reach Port-key) then I can do it? It's a downloadable expansion only though, wouldn't it know I have that expansion already??

At this point it'll be worth the $30 to get the port-key though. I have a serious fear of getting stuck in a hole or inside a wall and no GM to help pull me out, or worse yet getting lost and trying to spend the whole day getting out of someplace like Blackburrow where your map overlays read like a kindergartin's scribble.

Any idea this would work, GM's???

As far as I know, the rewards are almost always given only with retail versions (CD and box) of the releases. They have been bundling the rewards from all previous expansions with each new box set.

If you purchase the Anniversary Edition you should get every reward that has ever been offered, even if you already have claimed them from previous purchases. I have not personally tested this but I think SOE doesn't care as long as they get your money. It would not unbalance the game for one character to claim 2 horses, 4 roboboars and a couple of click sticks. The only possible unbalacing item would be the insta-click restore potions, like if you have a bag full of them.

For other starting cities you can buy a pottery made soulstone. It will port you to old world starting city. My cleric has a soulstone of gukta, my troll a soulstone of the lost(?) which transports him to nerriak.
Pretty sure the stone is a pottery made item.

I'm pretty sure those port soulstones are only for priest classes, who also get Gate.

Do you like faction work? You can always get the Worker Sledgemallet.

Edit: could be a bit hard at lvl 13...

Faction work, schmaction work I say, it can be obtained much quicker by unlocking the evil eye enchanter shroud, which can be done in just under/over an hour with the right methods.

If you're interested in hearing my personal strategy for unlocking this shroud Marvin, just ask, it got me the shroud in just under an hour.

Of course the only catch to this, is that your toon is low level, and the hammer is of no use to you for a while seeing that it doesn't proc until level 50.

Well, now that I'm level 16 (dinged yesterday) I'm closer, but how useful is that if it only works in combat? You hit someone and it procs a gate to the Overthere? OUCH! Lol!
I've heard of the Soulstones but all the ones I've seen are magic-user only (which boggles the mind as they pretty much get Gate at level 4)
I thought I'd need a port yesterday, too. I was doing the newbie quest from PoK to get the Blackburrow ring and fell from a ramp and got myself stuck in the scenery (as one of my worse fears). Luckily a kind GM online told me to try "/rewind" and I did manage to get freed, if not a little embarrased.
It's hard being a low level tank with now only 8 plats to my name (I had to get my corpse summoned from Blightfire Moors when I accidentally ran into some nasty skellies near a foggy tower).
So, no one's gotten a duplicate set of rewards for re-buying the game and expansions yet?

As the /claim rewards are tied to your account/character, I do not think that you can get a second set of them on the same account. If you don't mind the money, you could get the anniversary edition and tell us if it works... ;-)

If you have a friendly mage you can have them summon a talisman of return (a temporary item) for you but this requires a component that costs around 120pp

Frankly your best bet at the moment is going to be buying gate potions (about 165pp each).

Later you can get the AA origin or quest for The Binden Concerrentia (https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=17786) but this also requires components that cost around 120pp.

The overthere hammer will not help you if you get 'stuck' as the gate is a proc (so you have to have something to hit) but is otherwise very handy (you can duel someone or hit a mob to gate to the overthere).

You could try and /petition the reward and ask that it be swapped over to your other toon - there is a chance they might help you (but do not hold out and great hopes)

I know for a fact that you can claim the same reward multiple times on the same character unless the item is Lore.

By this I mean that anyone that had received claim rewards from previous expansion releases or box sets and then purchased a newer release or box set would then be able to claim all of the rewards bundled with the new purchase unless trying to claim a Lore item they already have.

So, someone who bought PoR retail when it came out would have a click stick claimed on one character. They could then go buy the Anniversary Edition and have another click stick to claim on another character.

The activation codes gets applied to your account even if you already have some or all of the expansions registered.

What I don't know is whether or not you can apply an activation code for an identical product that you have already activated. Like buying 2 retail copies of PoR and trying to activate both on one account, or 2 Anniversary Editions.

If you're a drakkin, and have the Serpent's Spine expansion, I'd suggest that you stick around there, instead of going elsewhere. TSS is a good expansion for low level characters to get upgraded armour, and cash in. The weapons are kind of few and far between until you reach Blightfire Moors, but it's not too bad.

An update:
I'm now level 51, and while the question of "can I re-get my now lost Expansion rewards" seems like it just might be answered with the new upcoming expansion, I've moved on (thanks to some help from some really awesome people). I now have a really cute drogmar instead of a Robo-boar/War Horse, I now have a bag of the tinkeror instead of the bag from the reward, my weapons are now spiffy (and upgraded graphically with loot cards), and I have a small army of pets (also ala loot cards).
As for porting I did see that one of my waaaaaaaay upper AA's is the capability to port to one's home city (which for me is Crescent Reach anyways)...but till then I keep a handy dandy 180 plat gate potion in my purse just in case I find myself 3 levels into heck and slim-to-none to escape there alive!
Thanks to everyone who responded!

Have you researched the Overthere Hammer (gate hammer)? It could save you from needing that gate potion only if you were in the most dangerous of areas, as a way of gating.
