Hello,

to fulfil my own needs, i started a site dedicated to raiding strategies, mostly about The Serpent's Spine expansion. It is a blog. You can check it at

Everquest Raiding Strategies
http://mobilis.wordpress.com

I will fill the strategies i experienced and gathered progressively, for now, you can get some infos about Vergalid Mines raids, TSS AG flag progression, Frostcrypt faction and raid strategies, and soon when i have the time, the AG raiding strategies line.

Come and give it a try, and tell me what you think about it.

PS : it is NOT a commercial blog, no advs no pop ups, nothing ; just pure contents to share with others.

Have a good hunt.

Thank you for your support.
I will be updating the raiding content in a few hours, toward the Ashengate West Event (instanced).

Nice page, are you planning to include pre-TSS raids too?

Yes i will.
My program is :
- TSS
- TBS including DeathKnell to Ayronae Ro
- DoD essentially Demi Plane (flagging path as support, but not much of infos that can be found elsewhere i.e. this site Allakhazam or Sammana's)
- Eventually CoA though its old content now
- Planes (Water, Earth, Fire, Wind, Decay etc) i am not sure as it is anteluvian.

A lot of work to come. Before CoA, i am not sure that i will remember it all. Planes are complex as i remember them, access granted was a pain. Mainly cross flagging raids. I may remove the dust from my old flagging .ppt map.

Thx

As for a general raiding comment, most TSS raids wins are directly concerned by the size of your raid. It is sometimes a 2 clerics or 1 warrior TM short between a win vs a fail. Particularly in TSS AG / Valdeholm raids.

Strategy cannot help much if you do not feed your raid with numbers...

Today i found an amazing tool.

It pictures a map of visitor's location (still anonymous). Much entertainment for me to finally discover who are my fellow Everquest friends, even hidden behind statistics.

I am happy.

You can check it on my blog front page.
I repeat, 100% ANONYMOUS. But i can know the provider and host of the connection, and discovered that today Sept 19th, a US Navy robot checked my blog twice as it is labelled "strategies".

HILARIOUS !!!

How to raid under sunny weather or rainy day ?
How to raid when all the town is trashed with millions of cars ?

My fun turned into a strange way, putting refreshing pics of the mythic Paris' Eiffel tower and a refreshing map of its trafic jam.

I will try to find webcams of NYC, Sydney, Taipei, Los Angeles, berlin, London, some places where our community is playing Everquest.

I fell like a weirdo sometimes ...

Sure would be nice if you'd post a link to my guides considering you are taking them and posting it verbatim as your own....

http://home.comcast.net/~mathadon/Guides/SoF/index.html

Even to the point of stating the % xp reward on oculus tasks

Wow, seems you been stealing for a while. You took my Katta Urn guide as well, thats just pathetic. Do your own work!

I did make links appeared on Atlane / Rasper and some others a while ago now.
The introduction on the blog clearly states that its a tool for convenient use of strategies gathered from guilds experiences and web content like what you post.

I never claimed this infos to be fresh or original.
I put all the content i find useful on the blog, and write down on each page thats its from the web or other guides. You sent me already a private comment in order to make the link of your own blog - which is really nice - appearing, so did i.

I have few problems with ego here. My main purpose with a EQ blog is to copy / paste / adapt what ive been searching on the web for my own needs and my community needs. I rarely build premium strategies. Other people already did them on Beta test.

What i can do is to put the entire thing on private status, but i really think it would be unefficient for most of my friends.

If i miss someone else on my regards, plz make a comment on the blog or here.
I will gladly put a new link to your site.

Cheers

It's not a matter of ego, it is a matter of respect. You should've learned in school that research is fine, incorporating that research into your own work is fine, copy and pasting that research is not, unless you are specificly quoting your source.

I put a lot of effort into my site, doing missions and tasks as I can and writing into all out in an easy to follow guide. To see all that effort trivialized by someone going "Oh hey, look, I added a guide to the such-and-such" is offensive.

With links in place crediting your source, all is well. Just show respect for others work in the future.
