Ok here we go...


Played my Froglok Rogue, and went from 18 to 24 in Najena, and it was a blast. SOme great mobs there, and what is better than killing Ogres as a Frog, but maybe killing that overrated frog Bonecraker.

Also found that the doors in Befallen are bugged, so I spent an hour trying to raise lockpick for nothing..But, put on my Erudite mask ( cleric got it in Howling Stones) and worked on the door to paineel.

Also got temp this weekend, but there is another thread to talk about that ("how can I be this stupid")

Finally, helped a guy in game with the "gliding" bug using this forum. You know, Elinda< the one I kept bumping cause I didnt know how to bookmark

Also, Ralius, I think he signed up for premium, so do I get an extra entry in the free giveaways jk
Ok gang, bring on the tales

I had quite an exciting week(end):

Wed: I resigned from my job. Due to the cancellation period (2 months), I will still be here until end of September. After that, I will work as Head of Marketing for the Austrian subsidiary of a big European trade company. :-)))

Thu: Temperature was very high (36° Celsius, 96.8° Fahrenheit) and I didn't want my tabletop's harddisk to explode, so I played some EQ on my laptop. That damn thing needs more graphic memory, zoning took up to 5 minutes! Didn't accomplish anything due to some disconnections and died once due to adds. Hope it'll get colder soon...

Fri-Sat: Went to visit my fiancé's family and had a nice swim in the pool.

Sun: Returned to Vienna and cleaned the flat all day long. Got very tired and dizzy because of the cleaning agents.

Grats to premium yenwangweh, I'm thinking of getting it back too...

drove down to my parents for the WE. too many sausages, too much food altogether, too many beers.... BUT, I enjoyed it :-D

Yeah, normallay I can 2-box with ease and even run EQ and Vanguard at the same time. Crashing was only something that happened to others. Then last week, something changed. I got the "this program won't run error" when loading up EQ. When I finally got in my graphics were all blechy (lack of movement, gliding versus walking), and Vanguard still wouldn't load at all.

I thought I had things fixed but last night, after about an hour of playing EQ, graphics went bad again - then I crashed, for a second time. I dunno what's going on. I blame SoE.

The hour was fun though...we had a bunch of people run the 'investigating a disappearence' quest, that ends with a raid taking out the Furious Jailor in DL. Took him down 4 times. I didn't win on any of his lootz, but he drops some nice stuff.

Don't think so, I'd only get more EQ time if my girlfriend got a new job... :-)))))

In the midst of working with no day off. Worked late on ship so no raid/group work Friday or Sat.
Thursday I finally dinged 56 on ranger. Now to sacrifice him to 55 and regain the level.
Winjon the paladin got back to Ac after some weeks in DS, got into a mad exp group, thanks to some 65's shawdowing the group (alts of folks in group) and made 55 himself. This was on Sunday IIRC. Friday and Saturday are a blur. I ran ranger around the glade on Saturday. Took a pot shot at an Lucky Insane member, as they were doing a guild druken free for all in Qeynos arena. ( Boy did it hurt when I stepped into the arena to allow the monk to get a hit back at me.)
Spent time on trader making money. (It amazes me that folks will buy my water flask for 2g 1s when you can buy them in zone for 1s. Maybe because I have the lowest price on trader?)
Last night I spent some 40 min in ac with paladin and about an hour cleaning shamans bank. Lots of using the item look up feature here.
