The Weekend Update - July 16th, 2007Follow

Not much EQ for me lately, spending too much time on the job...

Thu: Did a quick expedition in Dranik's with friends, got another AA and a Waterflow Stone which I sold in barter zone for 5,4k. Afterwards I had to find out that one of my baby chars (lvl 6) cannot complete the basic training in tutorial because he was created in 2000 and does not possess the no drop starting weapon required for this task. /petitioned, but got no response (yet).

Fri: Lots of shopping in the late afternoon. Didn't get much sleep, it's just too hot atm.

Sat-Sun: Two birthday parties and a visit to the countryside, that's about it.

How was your weekend?

Thursday Was off from work. Logged ranger for a while back in AC. Very nice group. Plan is to take ranger to 56 then sac him back to 55, providing our necro with and essence emerald for raid situations. Logged on 52 rogue as well took him to ac. Again will get my run3 then sac him back a level.
Friday I logged the cleric for raid, not enough numbers so we headed out on gear raid in the Steppes. No drops for my frog but I didnt die so the exp was ok.
Saturday Ship was very busy with tourists. Attended Baltimore SF Society meeting in the evening, got home at 1130 PM. Vaguely remember checking trader for activity resupply.
Sunday Worked a few hours on ship. Came home and vegged a bit. Tried to get groups with ranger/rogue in AC. Ranger died when invis dropped but a nearby cleric rezzed him. I think the appreciated the fact I didnt bring the mobs to them and took the death instead.
Watched movies in the evening Wallace and Grommet and Prarie Home Companion. Caught a EF ldon with the cleric. Again no death and for the first time was able to use my spells to disarm and open a chest.

Update to my /petition: I didn't see it, but a Senior Game Master responded within 2 hours and reimbursed the starting weapon. :-)))

Hooray for SOE customer support! This was the second petition I ever made, and both were treated within a very reasonable time.
