Not gonna be able to make it. Was really thinking about it this year, though I'd be there more for the poker than anything, but things have come up and can't go :/

The Fan Faire All-Access Pass costs $89.00 if you pre-register online. If you do not pre-register, you can still get a ticket at the door for the cost of your admission package plus a $10 service fee. Please note that this cost DOES NOT include airfare/hotel accommodations.

The tickets cost too much, last year they came to Atlanta, not 10 miles from my house and I did not attend due to cost of tickets. With wife and 3 kids that all play eq and would want to go, thats $500.00 just to get in the door. If tickets cost $25-$50 each then I would be more inclined to attend.

Peace

If this came to within a day's drive of me, I might consider it. I play both EQ and Vanguard, so would get double-duty out of attendence. I'd also be much more inclined to attend if some of my gaming pals were attending.

As to dressing up and/or going in character...it's not for me, but some people have a lot of fun with it. More power to 'um. Smiley: wink

I, sadly, will not be able to attend this year. The distance is too far, though, if it were in Atlanta again, I might think about it. I'd just like to know....if you guys were to dress up....what would ya do?

sorry but nois my answer, i have been to several comiccons and a few StarTrek convintions, but i now live in Georgia, and that is too far to go, Unless all of my Guild mates decided to go then it would be my duty as a Officer in TELoH, to go.

I don't think anyone who plays EQ1 shoule attend.....if sony could not find one player out of the four they chosed to represent EQ1 ...why should the players care about their waste of time event.....I feel that their loyal based customers from EverQuest deserve to have a represenitive more than any of the other on line games.... just shows how lame SOE really is....how they no longer promote or try to bring in new players to EverQuest ...the game that started it all for them....

SOE you no longer have my respect.

Hello Guys,

Come on, if you are like me you only will get disapointed. When I went I was hopen to talk to People about Fix-ing bugs. {That didn't happen, the people that where there are Train BS'rs, but really do nothing} I also went to Meet People from My Server, Well I sat Alone at My Servers Table. I went to learn about New EQ Suff, but I only learned about a new Product SoE was come-ing out with. witch had nothing to do with EQ.

All I learned at these Fan Fairs was you, the people in charge beleave you can pay any price to be there. This was just another way for SoE to make Money, and promote a New Product.

Trust me if you go, you will only be dis-apointed like I was.

Sign,

I'll be there. I'm not the type to turn down a free trip to Vegas. Look for me in my Allakhazam shirt.

If they had gotten off the dime and given a decent amount of time for where it would have been held, I would have had a chance to try to save the money up to go, for me it would have cost over 1k to go and to enjoy myself, but with all of the supposed problems with the votes and the stalling that happened, no. It shouldn't have taken anywhere near as long as it did for the location to be finalized. Trust me in that I would have loved to have gone just to see what it was like in comparison to the star trek cons I have attended in the past... but also reflecting what others have mentioned regarding the event, I would be going there to see stuff for eq 1, not the other items they have...
