Well last night I won the roll on an Emoush Stone. The corresponding 250+ to my hp/mana/endur..has put my mana above 8k (when I have the good crack on eh). That was a bit of a goal of mine.

My druid is level 70 and has about 150AA's. I'm sitting on patterns for the Inlaid Leather Tunic and the Inlaid Leather Boots from Icefall Glacier Quests.

The Inlaid Leather stuff is an upgrade, but not a humongous upgrade. Level 71 is required to even do the quest turn in though.

I had planned on sitting at 70 til I had all the AA's I thought were necessary and then leveling to 75 without no further stopping for AA's. Now I'm not so sure. Think it's time to level to 71?

Also, any advice about progression? Our guild and alliance are pushing through DoN content for the stats mostly (I'm still hoping to battle a dragon somewhere along the way). We're also still doing PoP raids and have just recently started pushing into the elementals. (we did our first lil mini raid in PoFire last week - what a riot). We've nearly decided, though not quite, to skip GoD progression as many of the people have already done a fair amount of work on OoW signets and faction and such.

Anyway, this forum needs a Friday pick me up. Smiley: grin

If you have or can easily get the flickering powersource to upgrade the inlaid leather to bark-inlaid leather, then I'd definitely level to 71, just get them. The clicky on the tunic is nice, and has good effects on both.

As far as guild, if most are 71+, I'd skip PoP as main focus, and go straight to GoD and/or get everyone TSS armor. Time gear isn't very good compared to Qvic / Tacvi or even the quested TSS gear. I wouldn't give up on Time tho, just for Fableds next year and some nice clickies you can get there.

DoN dragons are pretty rough until you get GoD / Tacvi / TSS gear for the majority of the raid. Kess in particular, and Vish you will prob need even better than that.

Same goes for much of the other raid content beyond GoD, although there are some that can be done without that level of gear, the ones designed for lower levels or lesser equipped. I don't have much experience with any of those raids, otherwise I'd elaborate on a few examples. :(

Sweet, didn't even know about the upgrade, course I haven't been able to get the quest-giver to even look my way yet.

Thanks for the advice. Smiley: smile

I'd also at least hit 71, just for the armour upgrades, if nothing else. You can always continue doing AAs at 71 too.

What gear would you recommend for Rikkukin? My guild had him down to 3% last night with only two full groups and Planes gear at best. We've tried Yar'Lir too, but only got her to 70% before we wiped.

Hmm, impressive. Are you all 75?

It's been along time since we had trouble with them, back when 70 was the cap, and we may have been farming Time at the time we were trying Rikki and Yar. So long ago, I can't remember for sure. Rikki is definitely the easiest of them, then Yar, then Kess. I think you can do all 3 with the TSS / Qvic level gear, but Kess maybe a bit difficult. Maybe not with 75s though, especially if you have the healing power and dps for it.

Yar is also healing power, and max DS, since Yar has low damage AE Ramp.

Most of us. Two seventies, and me, the lowest, at 68. It's mostly a matter of having enough clerics and everyone paying attention to the emotes.

You reckon? I'd say Rikki > Kess > Yar'Lir > Vish
