A friend has decided to return to EQ after a 2 year layoff. He has single copies of some of the expansions he is missing, and has ordered the Anniversary Edition. The question is: Should he apply the single copy keys to his account and choose a char to claim the items associated with the particular expansion?

If he goes this route, then applies the Anniversary key when it arrives, will he get to claim the items for the various expansions again on another char?

Thanks in advance!

As it is, with the anniversay edition, you get to claim all the stuff from each expansion and then get to claim it all again for the anniversary edition which includes it all. It's nuts, I got like 4 mounts right now.

So, I guess the answer is 'yes'. You get it again with the anniversary edition.

OK, he has everything installed, but only gets one option for a mount and that is the silly Roboboar and it's on a claim option that includes many other items along with the mount. Wasn't there a "Warhorse" one with one of the expansions? I don't have all the expansions myself, so cannot check, but I remember being able to claim the Roboboar as a single item on a single char. It didn't result in a multiple selection of items when the claim was done.

No warhorse but IIRC there was one expansion, pro ro that gave you barding for your mount.

Well the barding is also a mount, but you can combine your horse with that one to give your horse that barding.

Thank you! It was the name of the item that was confusing me. Yes indeed, barding is a mount.
