data5.cab?Follow

laptop issue still... on the 4th disk of Titanium, on the kaesora's file i get some sort of error, where is says sojmething about data5.cab, then stops the installation of EQ... Help me someone = (

Bad disk?

Sounds like you have enough installed to run the patcher. If so, patch in and download the rest.

i have searched to see what was already installed... nothing shows up? almost like the first 3 disk didnt actually install anything? this sux big time! any hints let me know = ) Thanx!

You can just download the patcher here and repatch the whole thing. Also cancel the patcher before it goes too far along and hit advanced and only select the expansions you need, to save some time.

Or if you have the hard drive space, try copying all the CDs to your hard drive first and then installing it from there, but you'll likely have trouble copying the CDs.

And you should have alot of it installed already. Do a search for everquest.exe on your hard drive to find where it is for sure. You may not be looking in the right directory. If there is no everquest.exe, search for *.s3d and/or *.eqg, and download the patcher to that directory and run it.
