Problems zoningFollow

When I zone out of an area I get kicked to the Log-In screen. I try to log back in and it says I already have a Char. logged in and I'm just stuck at that screen. So, I have to exit EQ and restart it. But, it happens again. NE1 have suggestions to fix this? I'm running a laptop with an AMD Turion 64 x 2 TL-52 processor and a 512MB ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 graphics card. Thx in advance for any help offered.

I don't think it's a problem on your end.

EQ keeps disconnecting me and lots of people were having problems zoning on Bristlebane...

Something to do with the upgrades that are supposed to happen or whatever.

Corrupted zone files, missing expansion, failing GPU, lack of RAM, third-party software interfering with EQ are all possible causes. The most likely, though, is that you run EQ on a dual-core processor; you need to set the affinity when you start EQ, or it will try and switch between cores and ***** things up.

Look for threads about dual-core either here or on SOE's boards.

Had affinity set already, downloaded optimizer also, still had the problem. Also have 2GB of RAM. I'm running Vista Home Premium, could that be a cause for the problem?

I have read elsewhere that you need to choose 'run as admin' to play EQ under Vista *shrug*
