Sorry Im asking a OLD question ,I know I saw answer in this forum and for life a me cant find it now,SO asking again.
Built comp has Duel core processors "Duel Bios " with a Radeon9600 pro vid card,cant play EQ or anygame for more than say 10 to 15 minutes and think when it swaps processors I go BLANK on my screen and have relog,I believe I saw someone explain how to turn 1 off,If possible Id like for someone to explain how to do this or point this dummy to the thread I cant find :-P.
On side note WOW this card rocks great detail now.

Well update all your drivers. If it is an AMD processor you should get the AMD Dual-Core Optimizer
Now when you run the patcher open up windows task manager. Right-click EQ and select go to process. Then right click the process and set affinity to one core.

You shouldn't need to do this if you run the optimizer.
Personally mate I use WinLauncherXp. It works fine and is a free DL. Good luck with your PC mate.
When I switched to a dual-core processor, and subsequently couldn't run EQ, I found an easy fix by searching the EQ Tech forum.
