Your Favorite Class...Follow

Ranger all the way. There's always some way we can contribute to the solution of a problem, although playing a ranger takes smarts, since we are considered a tanking class but we are not allowed to wear decent armor (or get a useful return on AC), so things like maximum melee range, aggro management and /assist >Real tank< are all concepts you have to be prepared to master if you want to succeed as a ranger.

Plus, we get to tell 'ranger down' jokes at every party we go to ;-)

Firstly My Cleric cos everbody needs one at sometime.

My Beastlord and Bard are fun and if i really feel like killing something i play my SK Cos hes a Blast.

Long time player here and I have played every class/ Race combo. I have to rate the Ranger as my favorite class to play. Rangers can tank in the early levels, then can tank again in the later levels with the proper gear/ AA combo. They are a very versitile class and imo, the funnest to play. I wouldn't recommend a Ranger for a first time player due to the game knowledge required to effectively play this class. I think this would go for any hybrid class. I started with a War, then a Cleric, then a Wizard and then worked my way into the hybrid classes. I got to see/ play first hand how a pure caster played, a pure healer and then a pure tank. Hybrids were easy after I gained the knowledge and I found that playing the "pure" classes first really helped my understanding.

Long live the Ranger !

For me it's a necro simply because they rule at soloing...which I do a LOT of. I also have a druid that I can solo with as well however, IMO still not as effectively as my necro. But druids are great in their own right as they can quad kite, have great buffs, sow, forage, etc.....So I like those two classes personally. But if I have to pick just one...necro all the way!

Cleric is my first choice. I have played on the "zeks" since 99, and have also played every class to at least the 50's, and the cleric is by far my favorite.

I obviously am needed in both group and raid situations, and I have found that they are very capable of soloing, undead is the specialty, but as you get higher they are good on alot of different kind of mobs.

And, even in a pinch, they can tank ( by healing themselves they stay alive and hold agrro. )

And lastly, if you do box, they are great ( not the best, druids rule here imho) at powering, and you will always have buffs for your alts.

Necro. I still consider my paladin as my main, but where a single mob will tear apart my Pally, my Necro can handle multiple adds of the same type and come out easily.

I haven't played every class, but have played several up to level 75. I haven't played all of those in raid formats though. Just some background. In raids I have played the Ranger, Shammy, Cleric, Necro, Enchanter, Druid, and Mage.

Of all the classes I have played, my favorite by far is the Ranger. I just like their versatility. I like the Necro class as well, because in my opinion they are the best solo class. There are times when I just want to play without having to worry about someone else. Kind of anti-social, but oh well. For 2 boxing, I enjoy the Ranger/Shammy combo. If I am just gonna be plinkin with my bow, the Ranger/Necro combo really rocks.

I am currently working on a Pally, and Warrior. The Pally is kind of cool. It looks like a cleric/pally combo would rock.

You have 8 slots to create characters, use em all, and have fun. If you can 2 box, create two accounts, and have even more fun.
