Errors when installingFollow

All right, I just received my Anniversary Edition from Amazon.com today. I already have all the expansions except TBS, but I purchased the Anniversary edition for a second account. I popped the discs into my laptop to start the install process (which I don't believe I needed to do, as an afterthought). On the sixth disc though, my disc was ejected with an "I/O" error and the installation closed.

This wouldn't be a big deal (don't really need TBS anyway), except now my EverQuest.exe is missing from the directory.

Any ideas on how to at least get my .exe file back?

No idea but you could try downloading the patcher from Here

then letting it just run (Assuming your on broadband, would hate to try that on dialup >.> )

I'll give that a try. And I've got wireless, so it'll be a bit faster than dialup.

If I remember right one of the first files "patched" that way is the eq.exe file you seek, make run it from an different directory just long enough for that file to show up then move it to your working directory. I started doing it that way waiting on my box to arrive then realized it was pretty pointless since I still didn't have the activation code I needed to start my account... But I'm thinking I did see the .exe in there when I went to delete it.
