ok i just got a dimond stelth radeon 9550 vid card. loaded all drivers and ever thing is working fine BUT, hehe. when i log on to everquest after i click the play button i get a message that i need to down load verison 9163 from the ati web site but can find no such verstion. i have windows ME can some one plz help

Try here first.
You may need to upgrade to XP in order to install that driver, but did you try googling the number and the name of the video card? It never failed for me.

It's been a very long time since I heard of anyone using ME, but I seem to remember that EQ and ME didn't play well together. Sort of like the words 'ranger' and 'halfling' in the same hpaotga gasfbg. See? It just won't work.

got it working finlly had to download a older catalyst and we seen to bee working fine now thank for the help guys

I played with Win ME and Everquest. It worked fine until I upgraded my vid card. Everything seemed to work well with my computer until I try to play Everquest. The combo of the OS, Vid Card, and Program were not compatible. I loaded Win 2000, worked fine after that.
i don't even think Microsoft is supporting ME anymore.
