Well, I can't wait for the "Weekend Update" thread later today to pop up, and i"m just going to repeat myself anyways, but I just got underway with Necro Epic 1.0
I am very pleased at how some of this, with a lot of luck and a little bit of help, makes it easy. Got the Flowing Black Robe for 200pp in the Baz, and the Level 33 Paladin in Freeport? Easy kill with the help of, Gailin a friendly 69 Ranger. Got the Eye of Innrukk for 2.6k.
All that's left is getting the herb and onwards. Should have this beat sooon, and in the mean time, grind to 51 so there is no pausing. I'm 46 with 2 yellows to 47, got a friend who said once I hit 48 will PL me to 51 easy.

My Exciting EQ Weekend News:
Not much.
The only lengthy session I got in was for a raid Saturday night. We hit Sol Ro. Sol Ro is one of my all time fav zones, so it was fun. Solusek Ro has got to be one of the most conceited of all the gods; his portrait is in nearly every room, chamber, hallway of the zone. The raid got cut short for me, however, as the second time a t-storm knocked my power out I called it quits.
The rest of the weekend's EQ was a few short sessions with the hubby, but managed to get his DoN tier 1 completed.
The only other excitment I had was getting my kid out of jail* Friday night.
*Not sure if the cops trumped up some charges or what?? My kid got pulled over for a headlight that was out. The cop arrested him for driving after suspension. His license was not suspened though. But....they searched him and found some dope....'sigh'.

Went to a DoN tier 1 and helped out for about 10 minutes then had to log.
Family stuff sucks big time sometimes.
Glad to hear it all fell into place. And if I may suggest something, I always preferred Dulak at those levels, went quick for me.

Good luck on getting a Slime Blood of Cazic Thule.
They drop from Cazic-Thule and his guardians in Plane of Fear, and last time one was up it was going for 100k+
The necro epic is a real pita, good luck :(
Anyway, about my weekend- basically did nothing, but had made a Bard the other day so I played him about.

Great weekend, finally got the computer to run for more than 20 minutes at a time 
Got the baby cleric from 18 to 30 in Unrest. Man, can clerics nuke the crap out of the undead, especially at that level. Loved it when the Hags tried to bomb with me...
Also got the warrior from 53 to 54 in burning woods, plus got 3 Aa's in that time. ( running 50/50 exp to aa's )
And even started a Ogre SK, and got him to 10 fighting Lizards and undead in the Ferrott.
all around, just a great weekend.
And p.s., good luck on the Epic. Sorry I am not on your server to help out, but they are fun ( if not just a little tedious )

Sat did Anguish raid and got me first loot from there quest peace for glove armor. Went to quest mob and found out i have allot of faction work to do before I can do turn in. So I expect to spend next week are so in dranik scar murdering every nok kyv and ukin that crosses my path.
Sun did a TBS mission most memorable part was when we killed a yellow con (76-78) spider and it dropped a spiderling silk for somereason I found that to incredably funny. If that 2600 hitter spider was a spiderling one has to wonder what full grown one would be like. Finaly closeing in on halfway point for ally katta faction now.

The best part was zoning into PoT, after running around pok chatting with any NPC that might help me get my flags all up to snuff, and getting the emote that 'the cipher on your arm begins to glow'.

Congrats Elinda, it's a great feeling to zone into the Elemental Planes for the first time.
