Hi i'm a returning gamer to EQ I have a lvl 69 1 blue away from 70 rogue thats been stripped by a little brother of mine. What would you guys suggest I do to get gear when I have none and get back to lvl? Ive been shrouding and killing giants for money but its so boring i want to have fun. What could I possibly do? Also the Dain mm I can't do until I get the anniversary edition because I dont have the right expansion.. Thx for any help.

I've heard of this predicament before, and my best advice is to start over. At the rate of leveling these days you can be up there with your 65-70ish friends in no time, and you will gain enough equipment on the way to be decently equipped. But if you must stick with the rogue, your best bet is to keep farming until you get the money for decent equip (through radiant crystals mainly), and then join a promising raid guild. It is tough to do, but it will be worth it in the end.
All in all it comes down to personal preference, but if it were me, I would start over.

Sell your levels to a necromancer. Let him/her sacrifice you down to lvl 51 or so, then start over from there. This will earn you loads of cash and make the gear you need cheaper. Then join a guild, and when you eventually get the Anniversary edition, go do the TSS armor quests for the pieces you still need. Don't do MMs. Just... don't.
kick yer lil bro, and order him to farm spiderling silks for you while you're away :-P
delevel? hm, not my favourite suggestion really...it's tough enough for a rogue to level...
start another toon for farming though sounds like a good idea (Mage, Necro, BL i.e.).
apart form that, you should be able to get ok-ish gear for lil money these days (at least on Povar that is...).

A 69 Rogue is a good start. Make platinum anyway you can and buy DoN crystals or find others willing to do DoN missions. Hit level 70 and buy full DoN gear and augs.
You could start over as others have mentioned but I would stick with the Rogue personally. I did the same with my 70 Monk. She was naked and I geared her up slowly.

After 16 years, I'm not listing every friggin character.
DoN's for visible armor and check the bazaar for drops from TBS named for the non-vis slots. On Nameless anyway you can pick up some pretty nice TBS drops for very cheap due to the fact everyone working the skeletal hand aug quest will pop and kill many named and the bazaar is overflowing with the drops thus lowering the prices fast.
I would also recommend getting whatever dirt cheap patchwork gear you can to make your toon useful enough to get out there and earn the pp (or DoN crystals) to start replacing it
