What I want to know is how much more powerful are chars at 75 compared to 65(I quit when 65 was max)excluding AAs and raid gear?

How much old content can a small group, full group or small raid of 75s complete?

From what I remember the jump to 65 from 60 was a big one, made much of the content made for level 60 much easier.

I'm just gonna make up numbers here .. I've never been in a raiding guild and have no characters over level 65, but from what I have heard from others this is kinda close.

When the level cap was 65 a 65 tank with 9k hp and 2k ac unbuffed was considered pretty good, and could likely only have gotten that well geared from raiding.

When the level cap went up to 70 you would say a 70 tank with 9k hp and 2k ac unbuffed was just decently geared, with probably group capable gear. A raid geared tank at this level would have 11-13k hp unbuffed I think.

At level 75 they had to raise the amount of damage you take from falling a great distance .. used to be 20k, but now people can actually (or soon will be able to) break the 20k hp mark with raid buffs.

A full group of bazaar geared level 75 should be able to tear up most of the old content up to Gates of Discord .. assuming you at least buy your rank 1 spells for levels 71-75.

You should look at Tenish's quests, for general idea of armor. It's basically the same level, give or take, as Qvic quested gear to get some idea.

Ten levels is a huge difference, even without equipment upgrades. For the same mob, you will resist their spells more often and your's will get resisted less. They will hit you less often, and you will hit more often. Some of your stats will be higher, and all of them will be with equipment upgrades and skill ups.

Much of PoP pre-EP is solo-able easily, even many names. I'd guess even without raid gear, most pre-EP PoP bosses are 1-groupable. Definitely it is with Anguish level gear.

AAs make a world of difference too, eventhough the biggest impacting ones are from the PoP tabs, the newer AAs still add to them, and AAs are pretty easy to get at any level now, due to the changes in the AA system.

There have been so many game changes, that I'm finding it very difficult not to speak in generalities, which is very annoying. But I doubt you can find any specifics comparisons, on such a general topic. Also, I don't generally go looking for easy content, but rather difficult but potentially do-able content, unless I'm just grinding, and then it's more about how long are we gonna grind for to determine the difficulty level we want. Very long grinds require much safer (easier) content, as after 8+hrs no one want to pay attention as much to the game or work as hard. It is then more about keeping it smooth, and enjoying the company.

Small raids could probably do alot of GoD content without raid level gear at 75.

There is so much new content you can do also, alot of which can be done with groups, or small raids. DoN progression for example, which gives some nice AAs. There first one being +10 to all stats and +10 to all stat caps. There is so much more, but you asked about old content, so I'll leave it at that single example.

Yther Ore.

Not sure how much this helps but a guildy 3 boxed all PoP tier 1 and Tier 2 events using a 75 Pally/Shaman/Beastlord. All toons where COA/Tacvi geared.

hrm.. we have like 3 warriors over 20k unbuffed. /shrug.

Player power at 75 is night and day different then at 65. A cleric solo'd Avatar of War(for example).

Yeah, I figured they were out there but I haven't seen them myself.

I'm not surprised what with +500hp gear stuffed with +250hp augs.

There are Monks with over 16k hp unbuffed.

There is no comparison to level 65 and 75 in terms of power and ability. It is not just 10 levels. It is hundreds of AAs, better gear, OOC regeneration and the raising of the skill caps among other things.

A old rule of thumb I picked as a raidleader along time ago starting with naggy and vox raids was every five levels doubles player power.

So one lev75 equals two lev70 and four lev65 this assumes the higher levels also have gear and spells aproprate for there level.

PoP bosses are being soloed by level 75 raid equipped characters. So the growth in power between 65 and 75 is exponential.
