Good morning everyone, this was my weekend:

Thu: Did the Dain I monster mission for the first time. It was quite fun, and we had someone to guide us (thanks, Gerin!). Spent half an hour in Dranik's afterwards to get the hot zone drops for one of our group's clerics. When the others left, I decided to go to ToFS to get the missing keys for level 6 and 7. In PoK, I /ooc-ed for a port to Iceclad and promptly got one. In Iceclad, I found out that I had taken all my money to the bank and that I wasn't able to pay as promised... *blush* The guy was cool, gave him a buff and excused for my stupidness. In the tower, I cleared the wedding floor three times, and guess who popped: No, not the enraged relative I was waiting for, but an unmasked changeling who dropped the augment. *wonders* Did they forget to remove the code? Went to bed as it was already quite late.

Fri: Some more shopping, nothing important.

Sat: Gave the wedding floor another try. Cleared the whole floor 5 more times, got 2 more changelings and finally an Undead Usher, who spawned the relative on his death. Now only VhalSera and Tserrina missing!

Sun: We visited my girlfriend's parents and had a nice day in the country.

This will be the last weekend update started by me for some time, we're going to visit Australia during the next 3,5 weeks - so feel free everybody to continue the famous weekend updates! :-)

Had a term paper due, so Friday and Saturday were spent doing that. This was one of the hardest papers I've ever had to write, and although the completed product wasn't the quality I'd hoped, it was SO relieving just to hit that 'send' button when I submitted it to the Prof.

So, that left me with Sunday, Mother's Day. Smiley: grin

It was a beautiful spring day, both my kids were home from college, so EQ got put off until the evening.

Helped on an attempt to take out the Elite Sun Revenant for the Wizzy 1.5, two attempts actually...unsuccessful. He's one nasty mob. If anyone has done this encounter and has any pointers, they'd be appreciated. We had about 20 people, I suspect we just needed a few more.

Hey, have a great time Down Under bbot. Smiley: smile

Thursday: Had off at the day, so I ground up to level 25 then logged for my last final. Went to band practice, and then to the local 24/7 warehouse store, Meijer, to practice our talents in acting. Went home, went to bed.

Friday: Grind up to level 27 and went to work then bed. Had a bad night at work, but I put that guy in his palce.

Saturday: Had off, so I was grinding all day on my Monk which is now 18 and my necro which was now just 28. I died on my necro 3 times because of some stupid pull a warrior did. Band practice then sleep.

Sunday: I decided to go to Crystal Caverns and was able to hit 29 fast. In only an hour, because before that, family went out to breakfast, so I got an hour in. Then work, and band practice, and when I got home, I went back to CC alone, and spent 2 hours trying to get to level 30. Easily done, but I did almost died because one pull brought 10+ mobs, and went from 1.7k to 200 in 1 tick.

Thurs: Did not study for my last final, but did manage to score my beastlord's 1.0 epic! Took four of us from the guild to do the final fight in Fungus Grove, and I ended up thinking farming Maiden's Eye and The Grey were more difficult.

Fri: Dinged 55 on the beastlord and helped a 'zerker guildie with some epic drops. Last final was taken. Woot!

Sat: Dinged 21 on my Maelin warrior, and seriously considered switching guilds. Knocked off three aa's on the beastlord and worked on my Dark Reign faction for DoN progression. Still not quite indifferent yet, but getting there after three trips to Stillmoon.

Sun: No EQ. Moved into the new apartment with the partner and searched everywhere for the Anniversary Edition so he could finally start playing.

Elinda... that sucker is really tough. The more clerics the better ( or shammies) cause you need to try to take this guy at max range. Let the MT be in close to fight, and just try to keep everyone at range. Make sure you dont over DOT ( necro, shammie druid) so you dont aggro. I advise no pets either, so you dont push him through the "spires" I think someone gives similar advise on the mob page you linked...might have fought him more recent than me.

As for Eq, none for me. I have been getting the "blue screen of death" Smiley: motz, so I wiped computer and re-installed all programs...turns out my EQ disks ( from Kunark Smiley: yikes ) had a scratch, so would not install. Smiley: disappointed So, need to get the anniversary edition, but do not live close to a city to buy...oh well, maybe this weekend.

Just download the patch.exe and you'll install all the game files to your PC. My computer won't let me switch CD's so I did that.

Sometime this past week I dinged 65 on my shaman. I think it was tuesday killing gnolls on the steppes.
That's my highest level char to date. Courtin the Cleric will be next as he is 2 yellows now from 65.
Friday came home from work, logged on Cleric for raid time. Not a big turnout so we decided to try Rumblecrush. Get to UP and no rock pile up. Raid ends. Bit of a time sink with very little profit. Did get to see more of the zone however as we ran over to his spawn site instead of pulling to ZI.

Saturday, Brief time in game Ranger in AC. Evening spent at work. 23 cubscouts and parents on sleepover. Rain at night tore canvas awning (the Staydry Sail) so I had to deal with getting it secured while worrying about cubs sliding, and staying dry. Rain was intermittant so no real problem.

Sunday Finished up overnight, came home and slept for an hour or so. Logged on ranger and hit level 53. Was going to bring on paladin but went to brothers for Mothers day dinner instead. Coming home Logged on paladin for about an hour in ac. got all the drops I needed for the aug and the cloak. Now do I still keep him at 52? or Level away to 55.
Monday Ranger in ac. Died when a passing Brells servant grew me and I got stuck in hall ways. One of those where I just couldnt find the gate potion in my pack as they were the old formula style. Tried to root and camp out to no avail either. Luckily I didnt lose level. Cleric to Steppes killed the lizards and leopards untill the mage pulling found out that the cats will aggro assist on a spider pull. Mage took one for the team by not trying to get all 3 of us dead.

As a side note, Courtin, Adeste, and Jonwinnie are now officers in AS. Lost a few folks to LOTR and real life issues. So if you are LfGuilf on Povar, we dont raid except with Alliances, but we do find ways to group and have fun. Just do a search on Guild portal for Aude Sapere. (Im not posting the link for two reasons. Perhaps you can figure out one.)

I can't think of any reasons to post how to find the site but not post a link?? At any rate, nice to see that your guild has a leader.

Bummer.

I pulled a deer tick off my husbands chest on Sunday that was buried right in deep. He's on anti-biotics now for lyme disease. The saddest part of all this is he says he'll be doing yard work with his shirt on from now on. []
