I thought it specifically told me that NO subscription is required to use the Trial Version.
I tried to login, and it said I didn't have an active subscription.
I click on the link, login, and instead of asking for my billing info (which I shouldn't pay since this is the Free Trial), it asks for an Account Key.
I don't HAVE a freakin' account key because it didn't GIVE me 1!
Or is it because there's a cookie on my computer somewhere that's telling EQ I've already used my 30 day period and wants me to pay(even when trying to use my 2nd account that never started the Trial Version)?
I didn't think that was possiable. I could of sworn they told me you can play the Trial Version as long as you want.
It wants a CD key. And my other account, the main, it still shows I've paid for EQ: Platinum and bought $110 worth of expansions, and wants me to continue paying for them. Plus it wants me to pay a 90 cent tax for "renewing my subscription", I guess.

I don't understand. They won't even let me enter my billing info on the 2nd account without a CD Key, or whatever. It just wants a Key or it doesn't give me anything.
So your saying the "free trial", isn't Return to Norrath. It's the 30 day free trial of them not charging me for having EQ: TAE. Right?
What about my main account? What if it won't let me enter a CD Key and wants me to keep paying for what I got that "won't be compatiable" with the 2nd account?
I'm saying it shows I have already bought EQ: Platinum and all the expansions but The something Sea. Meaning I can renew my subscription, but still have to pay $30 more to get the latest expansion.
I don't got that kind of money. I barley have enough to buy 2 copies as it is.
That does bring up an interesting question to ask SOE though. Or maybe someone in the forum could answer it.
Since it shows I have bought EQ: Platinum and all the expansions but the latest, and if I redo my subscription, I'll be able to use all of those expansions again? Though I probley have lost all my chars(or deleted them and forgot about it), but that's no problem.
If so, then that's good. My 2nd account will just have to wait 'till next month then. True. I used my demo account to activate the game, and one day wasted due to technical problems, I'm able to log into the game. You shouldn't have an issue. Open up EQ and click the account page in the main screen before you log in.

I'm basically trying to get back into the Free Trial Version and get my char ready for when my copy of EQ: TAE comes.
And it's telling me I need a subscription. So I'm thinking I must of used the time on the Free Trial Version, but I could of sworn they told me that I could use it as long as I want.
I'm getting to ask SOE about this as their Chat Support just opened, finally.
EDIT: They have said YES to both of my questions.
- I can renew my subscription and be able to have everything I had before, like I never cancelled my account.
- When EQ: TAE comes, I can use the CD Key to "unlock" The Buried Sea.
My 2nd account is going to have to be put on hold until next month where I'll be able to afford it.

I'm confused, is your current character on the demo, escape to norrath, server?
