It will be awesome. The Anniversary Edition ships today, hopefully I get the call from GameStop tonight saying that my game will be in tomorrow, and I'll be all set. Go in tomorrow, and install, and I guess, try and move the patch files from my demo to the actual game.
Does anyone know of a way to do this?

Because you're post sounds like you're getting a new game and not the compilation pack of an 8yr old game :) Also the LOTRO signature, makes it sound like you're playing a new game.

I thought you were in the wrong forum also. 10k post doesn't mean that they were all posted in the same game. Demo version usually equals new player. I had to reinstall eq a bit ago and backed up all my sony/everquest folders and just moved them to the new location and didnt have the huge patch afterwards.

also to defend op a bit he did say anniversary edition and i am guessing lotro whatever it is is not one of those yet
