Why do they have to have a patch 3 times a week?... I understand that you make a game, problems happen, or when you update for an event problems happen... but EVERYTIME??, anytime there is a patch, you can expect not to be able to play EQ for the next week because of the 5 other patches they have to use to patch the first patch! is there really any call for patching a game that often? can't you just wait till like the end of the month and do them all at once? why do you make it so that you have to patch EVERY patch that you put out there?... I mean I understand that a game needs updates and to be fixed.... but its beginning to seem like its everyday now... does anyone else feel this way towards the patches? or am I just over-reacting?

Just another little thing to add to my above complaint... Why do we pay for a game monthly... that we can't play when we want?... will there be some kinda of compensation at the end of the year for all the down time they had for these patches? i'd like to see EQ give its players like 3-6 months free of game time for all the patches that we couldn't play during over the years. Anyways i'm sorry for complaining like this... it just seems like its getting to be a bit excessive with these patches for a game that you have to pay-to-play.

Twice in one week isn't everyday. You think this is bad you should have played back in the day when there were far more patches to fix patches. This isn't nothing. Just be glad they are fixing things.

or am I just over-reacting?

Heh I do remember playing about 5 years ago and in the middle of the day watch the server wide message saying the servers are going down alot more then they do now.... So you are right, I should look at it as being more thankful.
