Will i still be able to play EQ if I install linux on my computer? Do I need to get a special program? Like the Mac program that lets you run windows programs....
You will have to use WINE to be on the safe side. There is a way around this, but it is a little tough I believe.

Meh, it isn't worth it...
Crossover will let you run eq just fine. I have 3 linux boxes, Ubuntu Feisty 64bit, Fedora 6, and Solaris 10.
The ubuntu 64 seems to be the most stable to run everquest under linux with crossover.
But why??
best bet is to dual boot your machine. have XP running with only everquest installed, and if you are going to surf the web or anything just reboot into fedora or ubuntu.
Yes I know why you want linux. the safety of web surfing with very little virus or adware. But I would dual boot it.
The only reason I got eq running under linux is I use it at work and will log into eq during lunch to check bazaar or run and get spells, bag clean up.

he meh'ed himself, and getting eq stable in 64 bit vista is as simple as just running eq, provided your not trying to use server specs.
