I left the game back in November and deleted my characters. I am waiting to hear from SOE about having them restored.
Those of you that have had characters restored, how long had they been deleted before requesting SOE restore them? Also, what was their reply?
The main forums seem to be down so I couldn't find anything on it there.

Why in the world would you delete them?!?!
i've heard of restores back a good 6 months or so. Turn around time was about 10 days to get a response from the initial e-mail. It also seemed like a monday through friday operation, so i wouldn't expect a response over the weekend.
My sister had accidently deleted a character and it was restored within 2 days. It hadn't been gone for very long, because she contacted SoE right away. I had heard of chars that had been deleted for months get restored, though, so you shouldn't have a problem.
Just don't name a new character the same name of the one you want restored. If you do, the new one will overwrite the old one and it will be gone forever.

Already got a response, I figured I would have to wait until monday.
