you can have both--very handy for DW classes. =)

DoN merchants sell type 4 and type 9 lifetap augs. You would likely need to buy a DoN merchant weapon to get a type 9 slot to fill though.

The type 4 augs available below level 61 are:

Carnivorous Coral required level 45
Blood Sieve Plasma required level 50
Turquise Lifetap Sieve required level 60

This is only the type 4 augs since I didn't want to spend the time looking up all the different type 9 augs which are restricted to 1handed or 2handed weapons usually.
If you get a DoN weapon with types 4 and 9 slots you could put 2 lifetap augs in it for very nice effect though.
