6. A year's worth of platinum you'll have to count out. You want me to credit your rations? What's that about?!

1. English academics need not apply! Out of place for its race; the opposite of its name; and an enemy to all.

That's the answer to 18 (Fifth fourth), not 29.

Fifth fourth being, of course, the fifth mob in the list when you do a beastiary search for "fourth"

The Easter Bunny is concerned that eggs 11, 25, and 28 may rot. Here's hoping to prevent that:

11. Part of one of its kind; front and center among many players.
* Look.. "Its kind" numbers around 2,500. And make that "many, many players."

25. Time's Up! I am the engine of the train above it all.
* It could also be said, "I had my day above it all."

28. I am worse for wear and a matter of death. Getting too careless? Better hold your breath.
* My kind recently returned.

haha at first I looked for Combines, and then the Kedge. then i remembered the patch said 'Boats have returned!'

EQ boats fit the clue perfectly- remember the original ones a long time ago? I used to get dropped in the middle of ocean randomly haha.

28 out of 30 eggs were recovered, with #'s 11 and 25 rotting before being found. Not too bad at all!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

1. English academics need not apply! Out of place for its race, the opposite of its name, and an enemy to all.
an huge water elemental - need more be said?

2. Who wants to be a lively millionaire?
Guard Philbin - Regis Philbin was the host of "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?". There's a Regis the Revenant (an undead mob) and Guard Philbin (the 'live' one).

3. I may be only a shell of my former self, but I can still help you find your way.
Shell of the Master spawns after the Foresight trial, and drops head-slot items with the effect Faerune (see invis/ultravision/etc).

4. Bad dreams won't go away? I may be responsible...
Just a play on a name, Sustainer of Nightmares

5. Not quite up to the spiritual standard.
Another play on a name, a lesser spirit

6. A year's worth of platinum you'll have to count out. You want me to credit your rations? What's that about?!
No idea if Tax Collector Khugra actually offers credit for rations.

7. How about a hand? Or a very big knockback as I'm really two zones away.
Sugal the Fist, who happens to cast a large knockback, can be seen here on the hand in Innothule, but is now located two zones away in the Rathe Mountains.

8. Cremated, weapons in hand.
a charred corpse also drops charred weapons.

9. Could there be an Araneus cavaticus under those nuts and bolts?
The spider in Charlotte's Web identifies herself as "Charlotte A. Cavaticus" .. "Araneus cavaticus" is the scientific term for barn spiders. It's probably not a coincidence that this clockwork spider, Charlotte, has such a name.

10. Real or unreal; still a scholarly intruder.
Whether it's the "fake" version or "real" one, the Chaotic Spirit is a problem in the Academy of Arcane Sciences.

11. Part of one of its kind; front and center among many players.
Ward Lille of the Bazaar is featured in the only zone screenshot in which players are present.

12. Like Kithicor and Lord Nagafen; powered up by seven.
What do Kithicor, Nagafen, and Najena have in common? Antonican zones named after them, of course. The Fabled Najena is the "powered up" version of Najena, seven levels higher than her "normal" self.

13. I want to play a game. Disregard the obvious and it'll be over quite quickly.
Mahatototarit is the game-playing sphinx of the Jewel of Atiiki. But don't pay attention to the Sphinx. Simulat is also pictured in Mahatototarit's screenshot.

14. I'll drain more than just your blood. That'll leave a mark!
What drains your blood? Mosquitoes of course, plenty of which are found on Kunark. Who knows what happens when a soulsipper bites you.

15. This clue will not be mentioned.
...And neither will this answer. (The Unspeakable)

16. Where you see this, two of me there will be.
The open coffin seen there is in this screenshot of the Demiplane of Blood. Also present are two barbed bone bonewalkers.

17. Rats! A disease on you!
The Blightfire rat Plaguebringer casts the spell "Disease".

18. Fifth fourth.
A search for "fourth" in the bestiary comes up with six results, the fifth of which is our friend Qkav`d the Fourth Arbitor (try saying that five times fast).

19. Tending a fire alongside her kin; benefit, you will, in exchange for some skin.
Chanda Miller sits beside a fire alongside her brother, Baobob, in Qeynos Hills. She will make armor for you if you give her Bear Skins.

20. It's a messy situation (or maybe not so). Either way, the Gnomes can have this back.
For whatever reason, the dwarves of Kaladim do not appreciate the efforts of the clockwork Cleaner VII.

21. Lovely and round; I am sweet in the sun; I am always hungry... Something's wrong here.
These are bits and parts of Rikabi the Riddler's riddles in Tipt.

22. Where's the me? I'm what's for dinner.
Where's the Beef?!

23. I am a sample of charming influence.
a shadow of rage spawns during the 'Samples' of Corruption task and casts the spell 'Influence' of Rage, a 'charm'.

24. A Monk's feign death doesn't always succeed.
a skeletal monk - It happens.

25. Time's Up! I am the engine of the train above it all.
The image linking Page 5 of the Media Box section depicts the end of the Plane of Time expedition ("Time's Up" is also the caption used for the full image). Above all images on that page is this screenshot of a train in the Maiden's Eye. Leading the train (the "engine") by a nose is a mind burrower.

26. With four storms a brewin', I'll bring you ruin. If it's time you're wasting, you're in for a pasting!
A few blizzard seekers spawn during the Thundercrest task "An End to the Storms" in which you encounter Yar'Lir, who has four forms. Yar'Lir's form changes are time-based. Take too much time, and you'll wind up seeing her fourth form "Yar'Lir the Matriarch", at which point things get hairy with these drake adds.

27. It's a puzzle of 12; don't lose your way. With a faulty move, I'll be out to play.
Perform an incorrect action in the Yxtta riddles while opening the primal caves, an unbound guardian will spawn and attack.

28. I am worse for wear and a matter of death. Getting too careless? Better hold your breath.
Among the Buried Sea vessels, the Bloodcrest is the (arguably) most worse for wear with its tattered appearance. Its captain and dockworker are undead. (Fall off, and you'll be in the water of course.)

29. Sharing my space, furthest West. I am one of five with only room for four.
There are five Scions in the Nexus. The Odus and Velious Scions share a portal platform, with the Velious Scion being situated the furthest West.

30. The last egg has left quite a trail. Starting from the most recently departed, go to the second Kunark zone listed alphabetically. Find the first Quest NPC listed for this zone and follow it through to the quest with which it is associated. Go to the start zone of this quest, and from there to the fourth connected zone listed. Subtract 10 from the total number you get by adding together the level and ID number of the first raid encounter listed in that zone. The number you come up with is another ID number. The NPC attached to the number has the last egg.
- Kerra Isle is the most recent zone to be "absorbed" by another (Toxxulia Forest in its case).
- From Kerra Isle, the second Kunark zone down in the list (alphabetically) is Lake of Ill Omen.
- Astral Projection is the first quest NPC listed in the Lake of Ill Omen.
- The quest associated with it is the Monk Epic: Celestial Fists, which starts in Erudin.
- The fourth zone listed as connected to Erudin is Timorous Deep.
- The first raid encounter there is Faydedar.
- Faydedar's Level + Faydedar's ID - 10 = 55 + 4470 - 10 = 4515 = a black reaver, Easter Egg #30.
