*posting for a friend of mine*

If you didn't know, I hand drawn characters, digitally color it, and make it into a forum signature and magelo background.

Also go here if you want to see the full character drawings...

Since I am in a tight spot for money right now and because you guys are awesome I'm cutting prices a bit to $40 for the full color character. (sig and magelo are free when you order a character).

Oh c'mon guys, don't be so harsh. Maybe there are some peeps who are interested in character art (although these pics look a bit too cartoonish to me).

He's not trying to sell plat, you know?

No offense given to me. I hadnt even looked at the art, and since my premium membership seems to have expired I now have to look at pop up adds. Hence my comment. Allaks doesnt like folks advertising on his site, oh wait it is not exactly his anymore, I thought I would get a comment in.
He is not sellling plat but how much plat can 40 dollars buy?

I dont really want to know.

I make my triumpant return with a glorious flame.

Here is my brother's Deviant Art page. He does real art. I suggest your friend spend more time practicing.

VVV hahahaha - critics need not excel in the area they criticize ever.

Wheres your artwork? I suggest until you have something of your own to compare you spend less time criticizing others hard work...

Your brothers artwork is not your accomplishment...

Its not cool that it was advertised here like that but trashing his friends artwork is lame at best.

I very much enjoy seeing people's EQ art. It gives me a glimpse of how others see the world of EQ. I also enjoying seeing screenshots. It's like being drawn into the game when I can't be logged in. Yes, I long to be playing instead of stuck here at work. Smiley: jester

Triumphant Return = no one knew/cared that you left to even have a return...
Glorious Flame = no, this is not a flame and no where close to glorious...a flame usually consists of a well thought out argument or counterpoint to a previous post, not a childish 'my father can beat-up your father' type comment.

The two styles of art can hardly be compared and to have you, someone who doesn't even have any artistic talent that you've shown us, trying to bash someone's attempts is just downright asinine.
Idiots say Andy Warhol wasn't an artist because he 'just reproduced soup cans in different colors' and 'I could do that'. That was just a sampling of his art; just because it doesn't look like fair-weather Van Gogh doesn't make it any less artistic. The two can not be compared.

If you don't like the art presented here, move on or give constructive criticism.
