What are your intentions with this interview and what is it for? "Interviews" are generally not welcomed around here because most of the time people want to put a negative spin on why we play how often we play etc.

actually my interview is about what made the ever quest game, and later more of franchise so popular and revolutionary

I actually have to go to bed so I will post 10 questions and i will hope that a few of you have the time to answer and email those answers to me at godly.faith@gmail.com , Thanks in Advance

1.) In your opinion, what do you think made the game so revolutionary to the genre?

2.) What did you feel like when you first took your first steps in everquest?

3.) What keeps you playing, and if you had quit what is it that makes you keep coming back?

4.) Do you think the game has progressed and kept it's core the same?

5.) What do you think it is that keeps people still playing this enormous world 8 years later?

6.) Whats your favorite aspect of the game?

7.) As everquest broadened from just the original game what do you think they did right or wrong?

8.) Why do you think people seem to be drawn to this type of game?

9.) What did you think when a real world economy became present through this game?

10.) What was/is your favorite character you created or is an npc in game and why?

Thanks in advance who ever can help me out here :-)

Best bet is just to answer the questions yourself... you know just make up whatever sounds good and makes a good story. Interviewing one person to collect a dataset is just a statistically significant (or insignificant, in this case).

Typically, as mentioned, people don't like responding to these posts (plenty over the years, by the way). The fact that your email is one of religious connotation won't bode well either as many a 'man of faith' tried to put a negative spin on the game (RPG in general).

I have only played EQ for about 7 years, and I have a wife and a full time real world job, so my inputs are not from a solid high level EQ player.

I have been playing PC based games and Internet games from about 1984 (Worked at HP out of college so had access to such before most)

In general EQ allows someone to play a persona they can only dream of and work together to advancement with game friends.

My wife plays on line Texas Hold'em and both have much it common. Except in EQ is it you and your game friends against a dangerous world while On Line Holdem you work in a net zero world where you play against the world.

Good luck with your effort.
