I am a little bit, but a lot of them are hard to solo for a mid 30s Pally or for a low 20s necro.

Did the scavenger hunt for the EB familiar. Made 100pp from killing grimlings for the toes hehe. EB toadstool is not as annoying as the regen/pr one (seems to be smaller). Hunted warslick for a few minor alts (Fabled Goblin Earing and Fabled Bracer of Scavenging), but have not seen any of the Luclin Fableds yet.

Well, I've done the xp potion quest, gotten the fabled shrunken goblin skull earring, the fabled j-boots, and beat up some fabled dragon in Western Wastes, although it wasnt what me or the group were even there for and was more of a drop of the hat kind of thing.

This years "reward" is ridiculously awful, but I did finish off the xp potion quest, as well as snagging myself a Fabled Shrunken Goblin Skull earring too. I'm planning on hunting down the Fabled Snow Bunny, as I have to get myself a Fabled Snow Bunny Hat!

I just finished getting the xp potions for all my toons 40 and above. Gonna put the halt to doing those for the lower toons until I get the EB shroom for my bst and pally.

I just got the fabled shrunken goblin earring out of warsliks woods. It popped on me as I was looting the item for the xp potion quest. My pet had it near dead before I got to it.

Thats all the fableds for me this far...hoping to get some more this weekend..but one never knows.

I got the "Fabled Merloc can't do his job" item. And that's all I really wanted. I'm not going to rant on how it should be kept the same, because it really was way too easy a camp, but that guy needs someone to hold his hand when he makes items - all of them.

I was, until the Fabled Age Old Rockhopper completely destroyed me without a second thought... they hit way too hard for my tastes... and I highly doubt my baby ranger (31) can take any of the fableds I'm looking at... heh

Even though I have been playing since 2002, this is the first year I have done any Fabled hunting or anniversary quests. Did the xp potion quest x10 and will do it 6 more times later... yes I have an alt of each class : )
So far I have gotten a few gobbie earrings for some alts while collecting potion drops, then I took all my toons to KC and got them all the drops from there they wanted, and atm I have them all in the grey trying for those drops too! Im having a blast doing it too! Next on my list are some seb fabled, possibly chardok fabled, one in TM, one in ME .... Im sure I'll find more to try for too!!
I just wish they would go back and add some fabled to Kunark and other spots that seem to be overlooked when they added the fabled, like Veksar needs fabled! I would love to see a Fabled Remains of Synthax, but noooo : (

I am trying to as much as I can, doing more than I did last year.. only have two fabled items (one of which I dont really use) but I just like the spirit of a fabled hunting group running around killing old world mobs.

oh yeah, I voted: yes, not the extremely yes because I felt like I was not killing fableds as much as I would like to be.

I dont exactly want to do the stuff, but everyone else on my server is wich makes group population very low, so i vote yes (forcibly)

I enjoy the simple stuff such as the lvl 50 and under fabled named and the skeletons and such that spawn. However the insanely hard raid mobs that have 1 piece of gear I can pass on.

I got done dirty too many times on alot of the fabled though. You stand in line and wait to get a mob and when it comes to my turn everybody would leave. This happened on the Fabled FBSS to me as well as the Ishva robe with an enchanter. Bad enough you gotta wait in line to farm a mob, but its even worse when you wait in line then everybody leaves. Pretty much If it can't be soloed or Duoed I could care less about it.

I did the xp potion quest with my higher levels then again solo with my 35 BST... I was supprised she could do it and rather easily too. Not even twinked out.. just using quested gear... it was a great feeling to accomplish it.

Also killed the Fabled goblin with my BST.. had a lvl 32 cleric help with that one.. took longer than expeted but was a lot of fun. Cleric got the earing. We had fun.

I am participating in a limited way, most of the stuff I can solo I have better, some I can get guildies help with, ie. my Berzerker now has the Fabled Executioner's Axe. Most of what I would like to have is WAY out of my level range to use.
#16 Mar 26 2007 at 12:21 AM Rating: Good
I'm doing what I can but have no idea where to find them. All the ones listed in the updates are WAYYYYYYYY too high (I am only lvl 27) or the items they drop are much worse than the regular quests I am doing now. I started the scavenger hunt from nexus but found out most of the mobs are much too high for me to even try. Since this is my highest characater I have no one to help me cause the guilds only want high level characters as one's main. Would be nice if you made some for us lower levels that if hit by a higher level would cause a no drop - that way they would not be farmed by the guilds for the lower guys

Have played only once during the last two weeks, so I haven't seen any fabled yet this season, and I haven't started the scavenger hunt yet, but:

YES, I'm living and breathing them!

Thursday it is! Everything is prepared! Here I come!

Have been pretty much living and breathing them this year.
By the way Talendor's -250 Fire check is way off this year. Even with infusion burning @ 558 Fireresist He never had a problem sticking it to the group that went after him.
Other than that and the nerf bat swinging violently at the Ancient Rockhopper's aug, and the fabled Shissar BP, and that Aug from Fungus Grove still being worthless as it cannot be equipped, its been a pretty good year so far.

I just kind of with that they would check these items before putting them in to game to be sure they were what they were supposed to be. It makes me wonder if these people are just doing this job part time from their mom's basement?

"Maaaaa!!!!!!!,,, I can't come to dinner, I am trying to itemize!!!"

Have done the 6th anniversary potion quest with alts who were too low last time. Think though that Sony could have made this available a second time around - better reward this way than just double exp weekend - if you cant play that particluar weekend then you miss out on reward while still suffering the downtime - not everyone can play all the time - some of us actually have a life:) Making potion available means that everyone can use double exp at a time that suits them, not just when Sony decides to have double exp.

Dont intend doing the other anniversary quests.

May hunt down a couple of fabled MOBS - havent really decided yet

Fabled Emperor Ring from ssra seems to be a favorite. It's nice some of the fabled drops are tradeable like the robe from hollowshade moore being spammed/sold for 10k on Drinal.

As in previous years, you need to be ina raiding guild to get the good stuff. I know as a whole this is a raid orientated game, but it would be nice to see more good stuff available to individuals. IE as in Jonas Dagmire quest.
#22 Mar 26 2007 at 1:32 PM Rating: Good
been killin falbed luclin mobs w/ the guild

like fabled thought horror fiend, servator of luclin, fabled SSRA and VT also

btw Grey Horizon got first blood on fabled AHR on tunare server :)
#23 Mar 26 2007 at 3:16 PM Rating: Good
Our guild did a couple of the Fabled Luclin mobs, but I am glad that we are not investing the entire month in doing them as we are at the edge of finishing PoR and breaking into TSS.

I guess after a certian period of time I stopped liking these because it gave yet another reason for people to be a bunch of (insert appropriate explitive) in purposely perma camping mobs to deny those to get the Fabled SSRA ring or stuff like that.

Not interested in the anniversary 'fun', but have taken full advantage of the fabled this year. I wish they would've made the potion an illusion instead of extra exp potion...I can't even do it since I've done it in the past...what's up with that??
#25 Mar 26 2007 at 7:43 PM Rating: Good
LOL Strakeats at the name of your item.

I got the required ring and an aug or two, but that's all that the entire Luclin Fabled offer the level 75 non-raider...which is just sad.

I've helped the wife and friends camp fables for them. The only thing i want is the fabled creator from Ssra, I'm drooling over that sk only weapon to get it on my 75 sk. Thing is i'm not in a raiding guild and the one raid we did put together to take it out we wiped on all attempts. 3 groups -(. Guess i'll just get to drool sigh..
