I've been debating coming back to EQ after about 6 months, and the latest expansion pack has really piqued my interest again.
However, I have a few questions:
1) Does the new expansion pack come with 30 day free account reactivation?
2) I know most of you are going to hate me for this but... Has anything drastically changed in the past 6 months?

I don't know of ANY expansion that offers a free reactivation of any type.

As far as whats changed, no idea, I quit back in Nov. Maybe try looking at the other "I'm coming back" topics on the first page, or the second, third, fourth, etc...

I think around DoN or Depths release they did this. dont know if it was actually tied to the expansions though.

Easy way to find out is to just try logging into the game if theres a free 30 day special going on it will let you and the timer will start.

No no no I mean, if I bought the expansion pack - will I get the 30 days if I already have an account, but I'm not currently subscribed?

For your second question look at the big sticky at the top of the page about returning to the game, if it doesn't seem much different then it hasn't changed. For the free part I have no idea /shrug
For TBS specific stuff look under the guides section for TBS (see the left section of the website and scroll down)

No you wont, only way besides the random free 30 day to get people back you would have to buy EQ fresh with a new account.

When I re-tried EQ a few months ago, they gave me a free 30 days. I'm not sure how long you need to be cancelled before they'll try to lure you back, though. I think I was cancelled for about 6+ months.

Not long ago they gave a free 30 day trial to people with canceled accounts in an attempt to get people back, it wasn't tied to an expansion.

Oh, I know it wasn't expansion-oriented. Just that he may (should?) get 30 days upon reactivating.
