The catta mission coral diving now has a new requirement of "kill 20 kedge" not mentioned in the patch notes.
-----Edit----
Why does this bug me? Because this expansion was supposed to balance itself out with the orux and faction changing by how popular the mission is, that's a good idea, we sucked at designing this mission so it's going to be worth the most points because nobody wants to do it. As is it was going to take me 90+ more missions to get what I wanted out of the expansion (which adds up to a lot of hours). Oh well, guess they'll make loot and missions suck if the get too popular.

Sorry, dont mean to pick on you or insult you in any way, but (and there is always a but, isnt there?) I dont see this as a nerf at all. They simply corrected an error in the design of the mission. Anyone who has played the dodh missions and recalls the bards' ability to solo a certain dodh mission until soe fixed the mission would know this fix was incoming. Did you really think SOE designed a mission that you cannot get without a group of at least three people to be soloed by one player, be it a rogue or sk or monk, without requiring any kills at all? It was nice for rogues for a while, but anyone who had reasonable expectations would not call this a nerf, it was a fix, plain and simple.

My main is a rogue and I DON'T think it was a nerf. No class should have the ability to solo a GROUP mission.

Now Library Heist....THAT was a nerf.

Seeing as it had a 45 minute lockout timer and a reduced reward I don't think it was an exploit. For one set of Preatorean gear it costs 3175 orux, at 25 crystals a mission that takes 127 missions, with a 45 minute lockout timer that takes 95 and a half hours. Still quite a time sink if you only did one or two a day. Now taking several hours to complete, and only giving you 25 orux this task is uselss. The whole point of this expansion was "if we design a bad mission that's too easy then people wont get many points for it because a lot of people will be doing it. But the "good" ones that take 6 hours and a 43k tank to complete will be worth 100 orux" SOE should know a little about the game, and that certain classes have the ability to drop agro and loot things, it's been around 8 years now, get a clue devs. I figure this is just one of those "buy the expansion" exploits that they allow to go live so more people will buy it then they nerf it once they hit their goal sales.

It may be that this type of quest exploit is set up to sell expansions, same as loot goofs in other expansions that get people to buy the expansion just in time to see the exploits corrected, but, regardless of how much time it takes to do the mission, or how long the lockout is afterwards, or how many orum it takes to buy a full set of TBS gear, you aren't being realistic if you think the devs ever intended the player base to do the missions while sitting on their collective butts watching a rogue solo them so they could get the rewards for no effort at all. I just dont think the game has ever given people something for no effort at all and that is what was happening with this mission. So I would have to say this was a correction to an exploit, not a nerf. Was the exploit intended to sell the expansion? We will never know the answer to that question =P.

Of course, there are still issues that are similar to this exploit, such as ubers duoing the mission while 4 other people sit afk in the guildhall but hasn't been addressed and probably never will be addressed.
