Happy 8th Anniversary EverQuest!

On March 16, 2007, EverQuest will celebrate its 8th Anniversary.

To commemorate this landmark occasion, we will be introducing dozens of Fabled Luclin NPCs, a new scavenger hunt that will be available for all levels, and we will be bringing back all the fabled fiends of years past.

We also have a Veteran Reward on its way for April. More information will be made available about the reward as the time draws closer.

Festival of Time
March 12th through March 26th

This festival celebrates the anniversary of EverQuest. The Librarians of Myrist, who have been charged with the chronicling and keeping of historical records regarding Norrath, are appropriately heading this celebration. Librarians, and the like, will venture forth into Norrath to spread timeless tales of ancient history and help the peoples of EverQuest remember their past so keep an eye out for these storytellers.

Happy Birthday, EQ!Smiley: flowers

Though I guess I might be inclined to bring my necro up levels in the next couple of days before it starts so that I can get my necro some stuff too.

Hmm was looking for another double exp weekend. They did not mention it maybe it will still happen. I could use a hand getting up to where I can use my new gear, I got with the new expansion. I will enjoy the fabled hunt anyway.

My guild has already made plans to make a concerted effort to get some fabled mobs beat down.

Hopefully there will be more stat foods to stock up on. My Drood just pulled her last loaf of Halloween pumpkin bread out of the freezer.

But would he drop a fabled Rallic Pack? Lets see it holds 16 slots, giant size items and 100 percent wr.

I am waiting for the Fabled in Hollowshade Moor, and a fabled zelniak.

Has anyone seen any of these fabled luclin mobs? I personally would love to see a fabled grimling chieftain dropping fabled Staf of Living Sands :)

I was only able to log in for about 10mins last night. Downloaded the patch and noted that it said the scavenger hunt NPC would be in The Nexus.

I checked around The Nexus but didn't find anyone willing to give me a quest.

Is this not available until tomorrow as well? Anyone find the scavenger hunter giver yet?

Tips for Celebrating the Anniversary!

On March 16, 2007, EverQuest will celebrate its 8th Anniversary.

Here are some ways you can celebrate:

Take part in the Anniversary Festivities!

In Game:
We have introduced dozens of Fabled Luclin NPCs. -We brought back all the fabled fiends of years past. -There is a new scavenger hunt! Speak with Tyla Filinav in the Nexus if you are interested in helping her collect a few things. -These Anniversary Festivities will be available from March 16, 2007 through April 16, 2007.

Out of Game:
Visit The Dungeon and The Harpy's Head Tavern section of the EverQuest Forums to write stories, share your screenshots of your parties, raids, and adventures.

Help your friends play!

-Help your friends try out new characters. Help them get up to speed with their old characters! Help them Party!
-Invite old friends to return to EverQuest for the weekend.
-Invite new friends to…

Escape to Norrath

Visit your home city!

Throughout the year, you can get so busy that you forget about the city where you were born. Take time out this weekend to visit your home city.

Anniversary Hail!

Greet everyone you meet in game with a Happy 8th Anniversary greeting.

Party!

Make use of the taverns and inns across the world by throwing a big party for your friends and be sure to invite others. Perhaps even in The Arena where you can have a little bit extra fun with the party!

I have to confess, I have been really looking forward to the Fabled coming out to play again. It always adds a little bit of fun to the game, and I enjoy running around seeing how many I can kill before the month is up again.

Good times!

My hat off to the dev who came up with this idea.

what about the fabled ringo in PC loL!

While the Fabled Snow Bunny is my favorite critter (wonder if I can DC him?), my favorite item has to be this.

Though I do confess that I make a special trip down to Crushbone every year to kill Fabled Ambassador Dvinn and Fabled Emperor Crush Smiley: sly .

I just logged in and hailed her and she's thanking me for helping her out already.... did we get cheated with a recycled reward from last year?

Not sure. Fabled Shei Vinitras (merchant) didn't spawn the Fabled version of himself once he was downed, though =/

So I /bugged it. But I doubt they'd bring the servers down just for that.

Wonder if it's the lack of NO Drop tag on the fabled items??
