about a week ago i asked what expansion i should buy and stuff and today i went out and got everquest titanium and am also gonna to purchase serpents spine tonight, now I have been watching these forums recently and one topic was talking about several servers getting lower populations by the week. Now i want to know what server still has a decent population or guilds that are still willing to take new people in? I might be able to get online tonight so I would appreciate the help thanks.
As has been mentioned before by others, the best way to get a good feel for a server population is to create toons on several servers, and go to POK or the guild lobby and see how many people are on each server at a set time (say 9pm EST).
I reside on Maelin, and I know there are still lots of active guilds on the server. Go look on the guild lobby boards, and you can see who is recruiting.

Stormm still has a healthy population
yeah, the friend that got me into the game plays on Stromm, so thats where I made my char.
I'm thinking of doing progression server, don't know if it's busy or not, otherwise I'll just go back to Stromm. I'll post here what I did, and if you all need help, and are on Stromm, you can send a PM to Fortrue.

Friends > server population.
You will enjoy the game much more with people you know.
I think I would rather have a server with 5 people that were my friends than a full one with people I didn't. Of course I have made many friends but starting out it helps a great deal to be able to talk in Real Life.

Seeing as Sony won't release any information about subscribers (and, to be honest, I can't say i blame them) I would hazard a guess at around 40-60k Subscribers. WoW, I believe has 8 Million?

I thought the poster said he had RL friends that played EQ. I would certainly play on there server and not be to concerned about the health of other servers.
