Hello there,

could anyone, who knows of any PP/account/items selling sites, please send me the link? we are currently researching to block them from google ads on specific sites, but of course we'd have to know them.

this will be just one more way of getting a list going, of course we also will use other means (e.g. search engines, checking links on known sites). and yes, I know this won't be a once off job ;)

please do NOT list them here, but send me an ingame message instead :)

thank you in advance!

*wave*

The irony of you posting that here boggles the mind. But I wish you luck in your endeavor!

If you want to block them from google adds wouldnt it make more sense to just google search for the sites? on the right side of the page are the ad partners those are the ones most likely to end up on a banner add.

Despite the convoluted way in which Allakhazam's was purchased by the gold selling empire, I still feel that they are now part of the machine that places people into the virtual worlds I choose to inhabit as workers and not fellow players.

Kajolus, are you only looking for sites that actually transact real money transfers or are you going to add allakhazam.com to the list too?

((And since you know me, you know I am only playing devil's advocate here. I just wish that Alla had made a different decision and we could be a community that I felt was worthy of my support again. You only get one chance at virtue. Once you sell it, you can't get it back.))

for the record: direwild + symbol + ward for the most mana regen, HP, and AC. Alla can handle using 3 buff slots.

sure, so I also said in my OP: "of course we also will use other means (e.g. search engines, checking links on known sites)." :)

no, Alla ist still clean, so to speak. also, the tremendous number of "spoilers" Alla provides, one simply can not neglect.

one very kind soul already provided me with a comprehensive list. I will crosscheck and put it up somewhere safe (most definite a WIKI site, so that anyone can edit/add).

thank you all for your input so far! :)

I understand your intention Kajolus, but are you sure it's a good idea to publicly post a list of plat- and account-selling sites?

how fast do you think this list will be forgotten by most nitwits? ;P very frikkin fast, trust me...this is why "can ye sticky that" is such a popular request. heck, most peeps can't even do a google search on Alla...

otoh, I hear ye. I also thought about it, but found no other way to "involve people" and "make it pretty easy to use", without thinking about it for months ;)

I could though (if needed) remove the link, and send it on per request. oh well, we'll see :)

Just as an aside, I guess:

Vanguard's been up and running a bit over a month now. I started recieving in-game mail from IGE advertising gold sales about two-weeks after it went live. Their selling line was "Enjoy Your Time in Telon" or something of that sort.

Vg Gold is expensive, but I imagine it's selling. Land plots for building on are expensive but going fast. If you are a farmer wanting to make money from virtual worlds, Vanguard might be the place to do it.

As for this link being available here, I don't think it will cause anyone to go RMT that wouldn't already. We are fairly inundated with RMT propaganda everywhere, in game tells, in game chat channels, in game mail, and ads on websites.

Kind of sad that people are already buying vanguard gold. I would have thought that that hardcore an audience would be more resistant as opposed to the casual audience WoW gets. I guess in any group of gamers there are always some that have a desire to get ahead at any cost.
