i wanted to play everquest escapetonorrath so my friend sent it to me after 1 hor of installing i look at my desktop and there are 1000s of files and icons appear so i delet al of them and reboot then there are more of them what do i do

Sounds like you installed EQ to your desktop. It will install almost 3000 files and 10-15 folders there. You're only going to see a certain number of icons at a time on your desktop, with the rest being "invisible" because of lack of room to show them. Every time you reboot, windows is moving as many of the "invisible" files back to a visible part of your desktop (this is why you keep seeing more icons after deleting everything). The easiest way to get rid of them is to open the folder for your desktop (C:\Documents And Settings\<profile name>\Desktop). This way, you will be able to see all of the files on your desktop instead of just the ones in a visible part of your desktop.
