Good morning guys and gals, hope you had a nice bonus experience weekend! Smiley: grin

Thu: Did a Guk LDoN and got the missing points for the Spirit of the Shrew spell. I could have bought it in Bazaar (since the LDoN spells were made tradeable), but didn't want to waste 1000pp on it. Did some tradeskilling afterwards and completed the PoR beginner smithing trophy task.

Fri: Can't remember what I did, went to bed really early...

Sat: We invited friends for dinner, so we spent the whole day buying ingredients and preparing the food. You have become better at baking! (37)

Sun: Taking a long walk in the countryside, visiting a medieval castle. Finally took advantage of the bonus weekend and soloed undead for about half an hour in Goru`kar Mesa. XP was insane, Lesson of the Devoted + Weekend Bonus = several blue per (light blue/dark blue) kill. Smiley: jawdrop Made nearly an AA and was satisfied, although I wish I had had some more hours...

Forget what I was doing thursday, besides being one of the worlds highest paid ice chippers. Friend paid me to clear off the walk at his in laws house. Hard work but worth the pay. I did do some game stuff. Oh yes now I remember. Winjon the Paladin has been running around the moors doing quest for tss. Did free the spirits, bag of ore, lucindas doll.
Friday worked on the ship for lunch relief. Then went to see exhibit at Maryland Histerical Society. In game I shrouded cleric to 55 wizard to group with guild duo in Sky to help younger cleric get the pearl shards. Took shaman on Nightwatch Alliance raid to chardok. Killed mobs for Warrior Enchanter and Cleric epics. Also had ranger doing some exp work in Natimbi. Ding 44.Halfway to 45. Was going to have escort for cleric to SOL B, turn in for zordak but found water in basement so had to log off. Vacumed water for an hour. Pipes seem to have burst OUTSIDE the house.
Saturday. Worked on ship. Came home paid a quick visit to haddon, no drop. SO far this week 3 kills no earring.CLeric and guild mates went to BOT. Cleric and shaman both need parchemnts for 63 64 spells. (IF you are on Povar and want to sell some Ill pay 1k plat per parchment turn in.Sorry I dont pay more at this time.)
Took ranger to South Ro wanted to get him to 45 so he could start using his tolans bracer.Servers shut down instead so I started a Civ 2 game. Servers back up logged in to check on haddon. He was up and had the earring! (Maybe I can offer 2k per parchment hand in? )
Sunday. Time to get the ranger to 45! Dinged on mix of sand giant elites and spectres (all Light Blue). Had fun kiteing mobs! I have kited more mobs with the ranger than with the shaman. Was called into work someone called in sick. Couldnt refuse with a large plumber bill in my future. That night was able to take the cleric into Sol B. Zordak was up, handed in the pearl, got the box. Killed a few fire giants, bats, bugs. Hey Naggy was up. Were going to try and pull the giants, but I got too close in taking a look at dragon and was sent out of zone! One way to save the run out.
Then went with guildmates to CT. Ended up in guild lobby, rezzing self. Everyone else, (monk, zerker, warrior) made it out alive. Went back in with 71 mage instead of 61 zerker and killed for another 45 min.
Today is dental appointment, check on haddon, and putter around making calls to plumbers.

Slow weekend for me on Sleeper. The extra xp weekend meant that Unrest was filled with high level characters pulling the entire zone to PL their friends/other accounts so I took off to find new pastures. Tower of Frozen Shadow was the next stop on the Hot Zone express but even the first floor mobs were too tough for a crappily geared 24 SK. Tried Permafrost but the mob density was too tight to solo and then camped in Lavastorm for the Goblin Commander but the Sage placeholder was a tough nut to crack with his chain nukes.

I ultimately managed to claw my way up to lvl 25 and a few blue short of 26. I'll probably attempt to hit 26 tonight and then give TOFS another shot either at 26 or 27. Highlight of the weekend was finding a discard Calcified Steel Breastplate on a merchant for 103pp, replacing my AC:15 chestplate with an AC:27 one.

I shamelessly joined the Dain orgy for a bit Saturday. I think I picked up about 9 AA's over the weekend.

Sundays raid, for the second week running, was teh PHAIL Smiley: frown. We went after Agnarr, a raid we've successfully completed before. Not sure what really went wrong...no one thing I guess, just lots of little stuff. Ultimately our healers went OOM.

Other than that shoveled a lot of snow, played a bit of Vanguard and was finally able to get some X-C skiing in.

Edit to add we did have some fun with the guild banner on raid day. Clicky pic Smiley: grin

Nothing like a raid where the Mob(s) can't manage to wipe the raid completely yet the raid never can get back on its feet...I actually started getting some inane type of enjoyment out of the chaos after about death #3...

Hi again y'all,

No EQ this weekend since...

I'M A DADDY AGAIN!!!

Fiona Grace was born Friday afternoon by section due to her cord wrapped around her neck, potentially endangering her. Mother and baby were released yesterday and are both doing well. My family sends their condolences with regards to my sleep loss, but since they don't understand late night gaming sessions, they don't realize how little difference there will be. My new job is being very cool about the time off since I don't qualify for vacation (on the job only 6 days). Man, what a crazy few months this has been!

Had some fun saturday exploring the new expansion with cleric shaman and druid guildmates (basically just killed in the barrens for the evening). Sunday night headed to Barindu to try to get the 4th and last drop for a map piece that the same cleric needs to finish his 1.5. Heres the group: 75 Sk, 75 Pal, 75 Shaman, 73 Cleric, and myself 74 Necro...I'm not uber geared (never been to Time or even Qvix, i just so barely got my Vet AA so im still learning the game) but these people arent novices, of course mobs that quad for 1k i guess are a bit much for any group...but the point is always the same, its just about getting together and having fun...even if you die over and over
