What are some things smaller guild could do to better their gear? We usually only have a few people on at a time, and grouping in WoS is getting boring. Most of us don't have level 69 or 70 spells (at least not all of them) and the person that usually tanks is only 68. The tank does buff to 11k hps and 2k ac, and has around 70 aa's.

The group we usually have is a war, chanter, and druid. Sometimes we will get someone else to tag along if they're on. If we get others from outside the guild could we do spell missions or something to that effect? I know the war can tank the Chef camp and MPG with a cleric, but that isn't always possible since we don't always have a cleric to join. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Only thing i can think of is MM's or possibly try hunting around in TSS should be easier to fill empty spots that way too.

Our guild did alot of the DoD missions for the rewards on the hard and normal settings they can can take a while but the rewards are pretty good at the end.

and everyone in the group gets something out of it so pretty good IMHO

Yeah I've looked at those but I wasn't sure if the tank could handle them would be my only concern. I guess I should've have asked what can that tank do that would help upgrade his guilds gear?

it's been a while since i looked but have you guys checked out the DoN gear. if you guys farmed crystals and got some of that stuff it might net you all some good gear and XP. Plus there are some very nice drops off of random mobs like https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=34958 but they are very rare. Hope that helps =-)

Get more in your guild and get that tank more levels and AAs. That tank would have a very hard time tanking DoDH missions without a very solid group, shammy slowing and druid and cleric healing him. If you can get a good group DoDH is by far the best way to gear everyone in the group.

The tier-1 OoW armor (plate, chain, leather, silk) you get from turn-ins found in WoS and other zones are still decent for a half-group of 68-70'ish folks, but as the OP says it gets old real fast.

Another set of gear you might be able to swing (with practice or after a few more levels) would be the PoR spirit mark armor turn-ins from Arcstone.

You could also consider an alliance either with another guild or with a more general type of a non-guild-specific raiding alliance (for example Ring of Steel on Povar).

I would recommend doing some Creator DoN missions. Good exp below 70 and while grinding to 70 your warrior can save the crystals to buy the 70 required DoN gear when they get there. Need a puller (monk bard etc) and a healer minimum, a slower helps and dps and you are golden.

edit

Also, DoN progression would be a good goal for a small guild. Will just need to find some help for the raids.
