Not ordered yet, and don't know if I will order it any time soon. The only useful invention for me would be the fellowships, and I'm only going to buy it if my groupmates will, too.

I have no intentions of getting TBS. The only way I might be persuaded is if, like others stated, the peer pressure becomes too great.

I liked the tainted sky, though, that's currently hanging over Norrath heralding in this new expansion.

Never bought PoR or TSS so there's no reason to break a good trend.

have not seen anything worth the money yet. Unless there are some very good gear upgrades for me or a revamp of poison for my rogue I am not likely to order any time soon

I voted undecided, but I'm such a tool I'll probably end up buying it for both my accounts. Depends on the "buzz" I hear after its released though. I'm pretty sure I will not preorder.

I suppose I'm a bit of a sucker for expansions, I pre-ordered it as soon as the message came up offering it.
I hope there will be some content suitable for casual players. I enjoy doing quests, although they can be extremely frustrating if you don't have friends who are willing to come along and help with the mobs that aren't so easy to solo.

Playing on one of the progression servers I don't think I'll be needing the last three expansions, which I don't own, for quite some time.

since you only get the extra reward items from buying the expansion from stores, I dont think i'll ever again pre-order expansions online.

in fact I really wish them jerkwads would quit asking me if I wanna pre-order as i'm trying to log in >< its really rude.

TBS won't be available in stores, but digital download only.

I've no interest in this expansion. Two digital download-only expansions in a row means the end of EQ is near 8(

On my main account, yes I have pre-ordered. I have not and will not order the expansion on any of my other six accounts.
Leaving the game or falling behind with my guild are not steps I am willing to do, so on the account that requires it I had to buy it. My refusal to hand money to Sony to further soak us without fixing the lag, the broken quests, the LONG list of things promised but not done from TSS, and all the other issues that Sony no longer even really pretends to try to take care of -- all of this goes in to my decision to boycott Sony, in Everquest, and in any and all products that I find with a Sony label.

The last two expansions now havent been available in stores so not sure what rock you've been under. And yah I agree with the screen that asks you to pre-order I mean its just so hard to move the mouse a half inch and click "skip" isnt it.. Where do they get off asking us to buy something.. I mean, you'd think they were almost, like, a major corporation trying to make money or something... the nerve, I swear..

Didn't preorder yet. No real reason why other than I'm a slacker. Will get it eventually.

I have no intention of buying TBS . . . the expansion or the network . . .

Like some of the other posters, as a personal preference, I don't like digital downloads only option, so that was the 1st strike.

Like some, haven't gotten any expansion since PoR. Simply put, EQ has become --it seems to me at least -- mainly cut and paste work since DoN/DoD. So, 2nd strike.

Moved to prog server when opened this passed June, and we are currently a long way (relatively speaking) from needing any recent past content let alone newer content, so 3rd strike . . . YER OUT!

Not after my disappointment with the last few expansions. Looks like another hardcore raiders playground as usual. Even the last expansion seemed that way to me. Yes Yes I am aware of newb quests in TSS, however it seemed like everything was either for lvl 40 or less or lvl 71 or better. My 67 necro can't even do the new armor quest because of the required lvl 71! I mean really would it have killed them to let people get the tier 1 armor at lvl 65? It wouldn't throw there precious gameplay off, shoot its not much better then DON bazaar armor! SOE has gotten too strict with the required lvls!

OF course I haven't even played the game in the past month so I am abit bitter anyways. I won't rant about my reasons as I think I have done that in previous threads (basically hard to find groups now etc etc).

Its not that I don't like Everquest, its just I don't like what its become. I also just don't care for the attitude of most eq players now. Honestly it feels like nobody wants anything to do with you unless your there best friend and/or in there guild. Even then its hard to find a GOOD guild that actually does anything. Pretty much every guild I have been in basically does low-in POP raids (and usually fails). As far as grouping there is usually 6 or 7 people who group with each other and they hand the rest of the guild out to dry. I have never been able to get into a really good guild except for once. I didn't last 5 days in it because I wasn't willing to cancel plans with my friends on a weekend to go raiding with them.

While I never have made any enemies in-game, I have never really made any close friends. Honestly I have no desire to do so. I have since the Kunark Days depended on pick-up groups for most of my leveling (or soloing when playing a solo class). While soloing can be good, it is very boring. I mean come on you kite a mob around for 3 to 5 minutes get a extremely low amount of exp and repeat..

Id really like to play another MMORPG, however I have not found one that I really like. Basically Id like a game like Everquest was back during say the LDON days. Everquest 2 is easy enough to get groups in, and soloing can even be fun with all the solo quests. However Everquest 2 takes away alot of the things that I enjoyed about eq1. I mean there is absolutely no twinking at all!. I was never the type to go out and buy 100k worth of stuff for a new character, but on the same side I don't want to start a new toon wearing bronze armor either. Eq2 was just too boring once you got to higher lvls. Also they seem to be raising the lvl cap too quickly in eq2. I mean 3 expansions and players are allready lvl 70. After about lvl 50 there just wasn't much to look forward to in leveling up.

I played WOW a little bit and really it seems about like eq2 gameplay wise. In short newer MMORPG games restrict you on everything that I enjoy. Even eq1 is slowing becoming that way as well it would seem.

Of course! The last few expansions starting with DoD have brought fantastic enhancement to overall gameplay and group content.

This expansion is another one that is focused on making the group experience more enjoyable so it is for me!
