Yes, i know that eq is not a pvp game, and that most of the current players hate it, but there arnt any good PVP mmo's out right now, and with a little work eq could be turned into an excellent one, also if done right, would attract a new player-base, plus itd be fun to have some Guild vs Guild castle/siege battles. Throw in some PVP balance changes, and some cool quests that give you new spells for use in PVP only, and think everyone would change their mind. If your a caster you dont even have option to pvp on blue servers cause of the resist rates.

Plus, this would be something that is more then just 1 more zone to auto-attack zombies in lol.

WoW has an excellent PvP system.

EQ tried PvP, WoW's done it better.

part of the problem is there such a huge difference between players in EQ. For example level means very little in EQ because of AA's and gear whereas in WoW being "uber geared" is a minor advantage as opposed to the massive advantage it would be in EQ. 2 level 70's going at it in WoW is very very different than 2 level 75's going at it in EQ In wow it comes down mostly to player skill whereas EQ it comes down to Gear/AA and little to do with skill.

I think it would be impossible to have a fair and balanced PVP situation in eq because of the player advancement possibilities.

I liked Sullon, thankyouverymuch... and if you're talking about Zek... that's not true pvp... you haven't experienced true pvp until you've been headshotted by a ranger at level 6.

I tried Zek, and my druid had horrid gear, and had no problem killing Twinks, just find a good pet and and snare them, and run like a ***** while healing pet, Of course it helps i have played a zillion RPG's in the passed, so i know all the good tactics all reay lol.

But seriously., 13 expansions and NONE with any PVP content, if sony is gonna release expansion every 5 months, at least make 1 have some PVP content. This is such a missed opportunity for more cash on their part.

also, i havnt tried WoW i read the FAQ, and it just seemed like a game that all it has is graphics, didnt see any cool features.
