bruur is not here, bruur is probably someone's sock.

You are to blame as well Dot, you always have been, you've always denied it, and that's ALWAYS been my issue with you. Take it like a FUCING Man, already.

...and lighten up for christ's sake.

bruur has a legit question. This topic is something that crops up from time to time in game(and elsewhere). It is a legitimate thread for forum=1 and I think he got his answer.

Just because YOU think it a sock does not make it so, so why bring it up? This forum is not your private romping ground and every responsible poster is entitled to their opinion.

Glossary:
sock, sockpuppet, ratepuppet: Alla account created for the sole purpose of rate-ups or anonymous griefing.

You have got to be kidding me. It should be evident that Politically correct wars are a sure fire way to loose. Find that punk and his guild and TRAIN...TRAIN...TRAIN. Whinning to GMs are for sissies. Settle this dispute like a man and take the gloves off! Banned accounts come from people running 3rd party software and using exploits. He said she said crap isnt worth their time.

Someone once told me "argueing on the internet is like competing in the special olympics, whether you win or lose you're still retarded". This is like a bad /ooc match in the PoK and I respectfully request you take it to tells, I'm wearing out my rate this post button.

i too have heard that saying and i endorse his request.
What proof do you have that Bruur is Dot's sock, this is getting pathetic, one argument has formed into another, i dont really care who started it all i car is that one of you is grown up enough to either ignore the other person and sort it out

i being a necro FD;d when I saw them... anyway.. I did / in wos and there was only 8 people in wos.. my group which is now dead and 2 others..

a wiz and a mage...

i am guessing the guy ran the wiz around gathered a very large train and headed our way.. and then at the right time coth the wiz back and let the train just plow into us....

To the best of my knowledge, you cannot CotH someone who has any NPC aggro.

Hmm, they must have changed it then. I've personally been CotH'ed when I had a whole zone full of aggro. At least, that's what the Mage said he was useing. It WAS a while ago, and no, I'm not telling the story.

That is wrong. Using CotH on someone with aggro normally clears that aggro, so the OPs assumption on what happened may be valid. And as it was mentioned earlier, if this person is causing that many problems do /anon.

CoTH might have been changed when pet pulling was nerfed but I am not sure. Having a pet class (usually a bst) running through a bunch of mobs to target whichever mob they are going after, then having the mage CoTH the bst back, was a commonly used way of pet pulling a mob half way across a zone without having to clear anything along the way.

My apologies to Dot and/or Bruur, I wasn't suggesting for a second that Bruur was Dots sock, merely that it was a odd post coming for an unknown poster. (Thanks BT for putting THAT into everyone's head (not really what I needed)

People don't grief people for no reason. Bruur, if this guy is out to get you, you pissed him off somehow. It might behoove you to find out what you did. But, I'm a problem solver by nature eh, and figure that an individual has more control over thier own actions than someone elses.

Again GL...sorry about the derail, but meh, it happens.

No sweat!

Now please Bruur/Dot, please call off your army of ratebots!

And in case Bruur is still reading this thread and wondering what I would do, I'll offer some sound advice in just two words:

Server Transfer.

Why should he have to run? This server is his home.
And yes, when a mage CoTH's someone it wipes aggro from mobs, pretty handy when you have an add in Vald.
But whats to say if he does move servers, this jackass targets someone else, i stand by my previous advice, screenshots!

Oops, did I say server transfer? I meant toon relocation.

No sense of humor around these parts, I blame Elinda and Dothammer, and Dot's plethura of socks, of course.

(and Fallonn)
Yeah, I was wrong about that, it's pet summoning (within zones) that is limited in this fashion. My bad.

Just make sure the griefer is not in the zone you are in when you setup; if he shows up, leave. Hunting you will get old real quick, especially if you post on his guild forum about this issue.

Someone had a sig line that would appear very appropriate here for two reasons. It said: "Never argue with a moron. They will drag you to their level and beat you with experience." I guess it applies equally to the OP and his griefer as to two posters here who seem to think Alla maintains the site so that they can play out their love affair in public. Go get a room already.

I find that if you ignore the rating system a lot of grief goes away.
