Tradeskill QuestionFollow

If I never level my shammy above 25 will her smallish wisdom pool really hinder her ability to skill up in Alchemy?

She's got it up to around 100 but skill-ups already seem slower than when my 68 druid is making jewelry with a skill ~240.

I use EQ traders religiously for recipes but never really searched the site.
