Ok i just re-installed EQ ,,,,, OMG how long did it ake to download lol
well it took me about 5 hours :(
i logged on my main toon , my ranja and low and behold i just couldnt get a group anywhere so i ended up getting my twinks out to play , and i did enjoy playing em it was just the same old thing unless ur an uber kitted out toon in a highend guild no 1 wants u .
Now my ranja has 9k hps unbuffed and epic 1.5 but thats NO WHERE near enough nowadays and i just donty have the time to play for 10 hours a day , i got a thing called a family :) and RL.
Now going to the games store to buy WoW as i have a few friends that play it , they all have familys as well and they get along just fine and still have fun after 2 years and most of there chars get groups all the time.
So i guess EQ is now DEAD to me ,,,,, unless i get divorced lol .
Thx for many happy days and nights playing EQ but its time to bin the disks and delet the chars and say hello to WoW .

KaralliothWolfmist, how long did you try to find a group? The way you explain it, it all sounds really fast. It is probably going to take a little bit to get a group, but if you wait or try to form your own group that will work a lot better than trying to get a group for 5-10 minutes and then logging off. I think that maybe some negative comments you might have seen about finding a group may have influenced you and told you it was going to be impossible to find a group, so you didn't try as hard. Just a thought =), but have fun playing WoW. I wish you well.
Interestingly enough, speaking of LFG, I constantly get tells on all 3 boxes asking if I'm looking for group. Being on that top 100 on EQ players probably helps /shrug. But at least three times a session one of my 3 is asked to come heal or tank vald when I'm in pok or relaxing in the guild pool.

I play on Tunare/eci and never had problem getting a group, The LFG does nothing as no one uses it, i found if you want in a group use General Chat or /shout in a hot zone.
It takes me about 2 min. to find a group on average, unless you play at 3 am or something.
