O look quests..how cool havent done those since tutorial...sounds fun...

walk around..O'a named mob..attack named mob..named mob summons me if i try to run..and also has a ton of Hp..i end up killing it ..it drops nothing. O well, maybe next time.

I wander around looking for a dark tower..

O look another named mob, a wolf..atttack the wolf...it can FLURRY..at lvl 33.. i pause and go o wow that was tough, but i live through it..

i finally find this dark tower...
o cool those are the guys i need..let me attack them...
they all cast..which i can understand.

So i get my second torch out of the ten i need.. one pops kinda close..back up..attack it..it gets to 10% ..a Shadow witch i saw walking around earlier walks buy...notices im in her clip plane and attacks.

im like o ****...
start casting gate, mob kills pet and then Summons me from all the way around a mountain ...then hits me 3 times for 100 each..and ccasts on me for 300 befoe i even knew i got summoned...

what's wrong with flurry? all it means is the mob hits 2 extra times. a mob that hits for 80 and flurries is easier than a mob that hits for 95.

what's wrong with summon?

and you don't even mention any spell immunities.

your complaining because you cant solo 2 mobs at once? one of them being a named lol, come on, if you arent aware of your surroundings or you havent cleared everything in the area you are liable to get adds, happens at level 1, and at level 75.

the fact that your were able to solo those 2 named at all indicates that they arent all that hard.

So you are blaming your inability to pay attention to what is going on around you as the fault of the game developers? Puh-leeze!

I have done the quest you mention. Its not that hard to avoid the named witch that moves around the area. Just pay attention and pull the skeletons to the wall where you will not get adds.

As far as the named mob that dropped nothing, I assume you ran into one of the Moorwalkers. They dont drop anything becasue they are part of a paticular quest (in paticular, a quest where you are not supposed to kill those mobs, only put them back to sleep). By putting all four back to sleep, you then get your loot (and pretty good loot for the level, I might add).

I somewhat agree with you. Seems like with each expansions mobs get harder and harder for there level. I also am sick of all the named mobs with no loot in this expansion. Right now though I am just down with the game all together. I have both of my accoutns canceled ATM and don't know when I will reactivate them (if ever). Ever since TSS I can't get a group hardly. What few times I do get a group its a boringcamp with boring exp with boring loot. I was jumping in good groups left and right before Tss came out, but as soon as people started going past lvl 70 they decided they was too good to hunt with people under lvl 70.

Needless to say I don't like Tss. Everything worth a crap has overly strict required lvls, mobs give very little room for error because of the insane dps. resists, etc. I mean the new armor quests in this expansion are either for newbs or people lvl 71+. At 67 I was able to easily get the stuff to make the caster arms. I go to do the quest and low and behold you have to be lvl 71 to do the quest and it has a required lvl 71! Yes I know it would throw the whole game balance off to let a lvl 65 have a piece of armor that is shamed by previous expansions (Sarcasm). Sure I could understand making tier 2 required 70+, but tier 1 should be required 65. I mean shoot they got newb armor with required lvl 5 on it!

The named DO have loot, its just sometimes you have to kill them as part of a quest. Not always though. Just have to know where to look.

He is probably referring to the Moorwalkers. They are for a quest where you DO NOT kill them. Killing them is counter to the quest so naturally there is no reward (outside of the xp). I had no problem soloing there and doing quests as a Drakkin Ranger (15-40). I just got some cheese, need any with your whine?

It is quite a shock, though, to see a mob that cons white in the 30's summon me... and the Moorwalkers are quite nasty, too. Molderahn rampages, and Duskfall hits 200+ (though I don't know of any of the new mobs that flurry, except for the Farm Alchemist). I can see where he's coming from.
