Year 2006Follow

Celebrated my first year anniversary as guild leader. Also celebrated one year of marriage to ingame husband who is my co-leader. Our guild went from about 100 members to the 450 it is today member by member with no mergers. This is a source of joy and pride to the both of us. But alas to say, some tears too. The revamping of zones to look like CR is not to my liking nor to a number of others. Can understand them condensing zones but that last one was a killer. All that beautiful scenery trashed. Commonlands is now a overgrown weed filled zone with no beauty. That gorgeous tunnel with sconces on the wall is now bare dirt. Reminds me of another game and its graphics. Went once to revamped zone and never again. No more sweet memories of younger days and the fun that was had. No more enjoyment of sitting on the mtntop and watching the sunrise/set. Still trying to understand the Dev's team obsession with dirt and weeds. Heard POK is going to be redone and dreading the day. Will we be able to find anything with the overgrown weeds covering buildings? That is about it for the year.

I have not yet been to the new commonlands. I disliked the revamped Freeport enough to try and avoid revamped zones as much as I can. Since I have no reason to go there, I choose to stay away.

I hope they dont touch the PoK then I would have to go get a better computer or something. Its laggy enough without changing it. I have a bit of trouble in the newer zones, but nothing to make me upgrade my computer just yet, but a revamp of the PoK would prolly get me to invest in some upgrades hehe

Well, last rumor I heard was they were going to try and move the game closer to where EQ2's start starts. Which in theory would be the Gods leaving the realm. I imagine that would mean some to all of the planes ceasing to exist or being in some sort of shambles. Who knows, maybe PoK will becoming the next lvl 75 hunting grounds.
