Hello everyone. My alt is a 53 wizard and he could use some armor with the improved damage focus on them. What are some common items that can be found in the bazaar, ones that work up to level 60. Also, any items that I might be able to get using my main a level 70 warrior with a group.

I have https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=19889] on my wizzy. Does the job nicely, but he's only level 12 right now, so it may be a downgrade for your chest slot in terms of ac, mana, ect.

Easiest one i know of is an aug that drops from a named in skyfire called Suspended Wurm Blood The mob that drops it is left from the OT ZL he stands in front of the globe.
Off the top of my head thats all i know. You can always check out the focus effect list to find gear just click "Focus effects" under spells right on the side of this page.

Shield of Discordant Energy is reletively cheap in bazaar. Drops off named in Draniks so your Warrior might even be able to get it free.

even if you don't have premium, you can still use Alla to search for focus items.

all Focus effects are listed there, along with the items/augs that provide it. you only need to know what kind of focus effect you are looking for.

Problem with that is you get any and all forms of focii using the baz search and trying to find a single focus affect is frustrating to say the least. It didnt used to be so bad but with augs commonly available its nearly impossible to compare gear with the same affect reasonably.
I got a bloodgill shaman staff and and some kind of fire brand something. One has Improved Damage IV and one has spell haste IV. Less than 3k for both. Thought I made out like a bandit! :) Also broke 4k mana with KEI which is decent for a mostly untwinked 54 wizard. Oh yeah, I soon hit 54 and now my familiar looks cool instead of stupid.
Many of the new hot zones have new named mobs that drop decent gear, and the caster stuff usually has focus effects.
Sebilite Silk Sleeves
Is one of the new drops from Old Seb, although the posting does not list what named drops it or where it spawns, usually they are from roamers pathing along walkways or other common areas.
Another option (and perhaps a better one) would be to buy a DoN item like:
Band of the Mind Fire, which is required level 53.

Those sleeves are outstanding; I can't believe they're droppable. Suprised I've never seen them in the Bazaar.

I say it is nothing, as compared to camp specific mob for hours/days... plus, you get to know more items/augs. I admit, it can be a bit annyoing, but hey. zis is ze everquest :-P
