i havent played in ages...so i finally get on after like 3 years of not playin and it says "this application has failed to start because d3dx9_30.dll was not found. re-instaling the application may fix this problem.".....sovi re-installed and saifd the same thing. i tried reinstallin evelution expansionand lost the game totally so i reinstalle again planes of power which has classic and POP. so lost my expansion but now i cant play Eq either. HELP!!!!!
I had this problem as well when I started playing again. You need to download the latest copy of DirectX, I believe. I think it's DirectX 9. Can someone confirm that?

Just to clear up what he said EQ now requires 9.0C It was just 9.0 up until not that long ago.
